Hello All,
I just recently read that my LED needs to 20 inches away during bloom, so moved it. I’m on the 3rd week of bloom but Now the little white hairs are shriveled and turning brown.
Is the light to close?

should I back the light away ?
need help thanks

Post a picture of these fried guys. I'm guessing just like @toastedleaf mentioned things are likely fine but the picture really is a 1000 words. Oh and light height is very variable.. Plant in the pictures below the lights are less than 20 inches and that is 520 actually watts hanging above her..

I moved the light closer and the Pistols turned brown overnight. Is this normal?
The bud in the picture is not directly under the LED. The budS under the led are small and the pistols Nearly gone, (it doesn’t show up clear in photos, fans blowing etc.

The pistols are there waiting for pollen. If they don't receive pollen in a timeframe they give up and more grow. If they do receive pollen. They also stop asking, and more grow. If there's no pollen arround they aren't fertilized they're fine. If the did get fertilized they're still fine but there will be seeds starting.

Sounds like normal development. If you are still worried after the above answers, turn on some normal full spectrum lighting, wait for your LED to turn off and take pictures under normal lighting, then turn the lights out and share those pics so we can all see the true color.

Also, search this site for 3rd week flower pics and compare, this may ease your worries.

Edit like this: https://www.rollitup.org/t/3rd-week-into-flowering.1029611/. Notice the shrivelled red hairs.

Doing research before you start growing is always a good idea. :wall:

Go read everything here...
When you are finished with all of it, you'll have your answer plus a better understanding of much more.

***Spoiler alert***
Your plants are fine...
