i need help,, now!

my plant is gettin too tall its on day 11 of flowering and the tallest fan leaves are nearly touching the cfls, one leaf began to burn. can i just cut the leaves off and be ok or should i just top the plant? and if so what do i do and how do i do it.

can you tie it off and bend it away from the light?

raise your lights, the cfl will burn and it will not recover in 12/12

I had some plants do the same thing because of too small of a grow room. I ended up attaching a brick to it with rope and gave the brick a flip each day till it folded over onto herself without snapping the stem.

that is a good idea!

dont top. willscrew up your yield. when a plant goes into flower, it will stretch for about 2 weeks. after that, you wont have much verticle growth, just fattening of buds.

well i've onyl heard one solution, im running out of time i got less than a few hours before the leaves raise up and burn again, why can't i just chop off these leaves at the top that are gettin burnt but still leave the colas.

there is still about 10-12 days left of vertical growth, im just trying find a solution from keeping the tallest leaves from burning, if i could chop them off i think my plant will be fine and wont have any height problems, is it safe to cut off main 9 blade leafs, from the main cola and keep a healthy plant, plus wouldn't this help the bottom branches get more light.

ive been keeping the plant a little underwaterred at the moment so the top leaves dont raise up anymore hopefully this will help me and give me some time until i find a solution

you can't just chop them off because then the plant will lack the benefits of light from that portion and will most likely make it dry up and ruin your tops. Think of it like this the leaves talk tothe roots like hey buddys I need some water up here and the roots reply with a ok ill suck some up and send it your way. Now if theres no leaves then the roots will be like sweet nobodys asking me for anything up there so im not going to send anything. So the flowers will be like omfg wtf plx mens water and there will be none.

you can cut the fan leaves but you still have growth to do. Cut the top ruin the best, move the plant away from the light into the corner, you should get enough reflective light from the sides, also put in a stake at an angle and tie the stem to it at an angle. If the fan leaves burn a little its ok just dont let the pistas get close, deadly
