Hey everybody, I've seem to gotten my self into a situation.

I have a Vehicle for sale... 10,000 is what im asking and its worth it...
I was just offered 5,000 which i paid for it..

Im in need of the cash but i think i need some help making my mind up...

WHAT SHOULD I DO RIU !!!! !!! ! !

SELL OR KEEP

HELP ME!! :wall:

are you kidding?

man i don't care what you did to that car, unless its a fucking classic that you completely restored, no way is it now worth twice what you paid for it.
that being said, i don't know what type of car it IS.
so, more info needed.
also, what did you do that makes it worth 5 grand more

1987 Ford Econoline with 67,000 km full camper van
ah...
so its not a valuable car then...

no offense bro just... its a fucking van. what did you expect?

also, what did you do to it.

(fyi, if you repaired it, that doesn't increase the value beyond what it was originally worth)

if i sound like a dick, i'm sorry but i think you're over estimating the desirability of this vehicle...

..still, we'll help if we can.

what did i do? bought it off a 80 year old man who never listed it, it has 67,000 ORIGINAL KM on it... its a full out camper van with fridge microwave and shitter... now ive seen camper vans with way high Miles on it sell for around 8k....

Ive seen a 89 of the same model, with 80,000km ontop of mine selling for 12.....

Now personally i would take lower km over the year. Which is what i did.

FYI i never repaired shit on it, it does not need it. Its mint condition with no rust no damage. it has sat for the last 15 years.... had a Safety inspection done, nothing is wrong with it no rust on the underbelly, and i had the engine looked at its perfectly fine... its a camper bro not a van, it has a raised roof and triple extension on the ass end... you and stand up and walk around in this thing... it sleeps up to 4.

And your underestimating the value of campers, at least where i live.
I purchased it in one of the shittiest province's in canada... soon as i brought it back to alberta the value goes up.
just how it works here..

It is fucked how much these things actually sell for... look at a 2001 Camper van
its 20,000+ and 2004 is 39,000..... these things are not worth that by far but they sell....

For a full size van that old, I say take the money, and be happy you're gettin your money back out of it. You might find a chump to pay more if you wait long enough, but then again, maybe not. How bad do you need the money? That's all you need to ask yourself.

and uh.. aren't the last two options in your poll kinda the same?

i guess your not a dunce. He can learn!

dude u from Canada? I really don't think so hearing answers like that...
Coming from personal experience, i could buy a truck in Manitoba Canada for 20 Grand.
Now i could go and find a truck Identical in Alberta, and would be paying around 23-25 grand for it.
Alberta is fucked dude.

ok, first, i might be i dick, but i am definitely not dumb.
thank you very much, as i try to help

no i don't live in Canada. those are US prices.
now that i know you do..
i have NO idea what the exchange rate is, or even if you are talking about canadian dollars or US dollars.

if they really sell that much where you live, then go for it.
all i'm saying is.. in the states.. the only way a car gains value is if you put someting into it.
but you never make back exactly what you put into it either.
a $500 dollar stereo system might get you another $250 on resale.
a new paint job, even though they are as expensive as shit, won't get you hardly anything.

also, nobody around here wants one of those things. ( i understand our northernly neighbors might feel different, but down here, its all about the ricers and fucking suvs)

so, if its really worth that much... why the hell you asking us? don't get undercut just cuz we say so... fucking get what its worth.

i'm just giving you my POV, based on my knowledge/experience.

and dude... really not cool insulting me when you made the fucked up poll, just cuz you don't like what i'm saying.

anyhow, good luck

Obviously your not dumb dude. :P

still thanks again for the help
