i need help with jack herer

I got a small 2 plant hydro set up in a 1 gallon rez useing GH flora series nutes and ph is stable around 5.5 and 5.8 always useing mild dose of lucas formula got 4 cfl 23w =100 and my plants are looking wierd check it out

doesn't look like a problem to me. the first few leaves in my experience will look a bit strange as they try to establish roots. have the roots come out the bottom or sides of the RR's?

Yes but just a little its only 14 days old and my very first try at this so i wanted to see what others think im doing my research and learning alot just dont want them to be messed up they just look wierd to me comparing to other pictures iv seen

where is your water level at? i'd keep it slightly below the netpot so the bubbling water will splash onto the RR but not keep it soaking wet all the time.

are you planning on keeping them in that same rez for the whole grow?

Well the water level is basically like you said just touching the bottom and the rez im going to keep the same for now and do a scrog type grow these are auto flowers that dont grow very big maybe 3 ft im limited on room this is just a big pc case i got and rigged it for small autoflowers

Also i was wondering should i spray the leaf with water every once in a while or dose the bottom feed basically take care of everything?

Well-Known Member
once the roots are actually dangling in the water, they will take off growth wise. just keep the pH in that range and not too strong on the nutes and you'll be fine.

Ok thanks for the help ill keep posting the future grow on here so people can help me keep an eye on this first grow
