what should i use for a seedling just plain old dirt what can i do to make sure my plant is getting the best it can

Good ol MG moisture control will do it, thats what i use

yes.
Only use mg moisture control tho, nothing else. Alot of MG products have a bunch of nutes that will ruin your seedlings.

I dunno what you guys are talkin bout. But if your trying to go cheap just use MG moisture control. There are better soils out there, but that works just fine. No you dont need to pick out all the nutes

Wow. I think that is what is killing mine now...I wish I had known this before haha. Is it clearly labeled as "Moisture Control?"

Yep, its in a green bag, clearly labled. Pretty much anywhere that sells soil has it. I know for a fact home depot has it.

Its about 8-9 dollars for a bag, if your only doing 3-4 plants youll have enough forsure
