10 cm plants which are 25 day old and each has 4-5 nodes.

why are they so short ?
How can i make them veg. fast ?
when should i top (only topping, not cloning) ?
Should i top it now or 1 month later ?

note: (these are same with my 1st grow plants. my 1st grow was nice and they were tall)

the only way to make them grow fast is good conditions...are you using fermilzer?
what are your temps?
the closer the lights are the shorter they will be...since were talking in terms of shortness theyre short because ytour lights are so close. now thats not a bad thing. your plants will be bushier...but if you want them a little taller just raise the light about half an inch to an inch.
i too am a cfl grower

yesss. in my first grow with the same seeds were the opposite. they were streched and i was looking for the answer of that :)
the heat is around 27-30 C.
can you tell me when can i top it? is it late to top now?

ya i noticed with cfl's...you have to find the sweet spot for your plants...it usually depends on the plant...indica,sativa,phenotype....the sweet spot should between like 1-3 inches
naa...you can top whever you want...when are planning on flowering?
if you top now you wanna give it enough time to veg and get good growth or it will affect your yield. i would top and 4th node if it was me. its all preference. what i would do is make clones too.
peace

...depends when you plan on flowering. i would say you should veg them for another couple weeks to 1 month or 2 or 3 before you flower. i know thats a long time frame but its like this...the longer you let it vegg after you top it....the bigger and taller and stronger the plant, new growth and yeild will be.
it can depend on a lot of things...how big is your grow space???

i see...
(1 inch = 2,54 cm)
the grow space has (65 cm X 55 cm X 135cm) = 48 cm3, which also means (65 cm x 55 cm) = 35 cm2 (0,35 sqm)

Watering : twice a week
Heat : Day 29 C. , Night 20 C.
Lumen : 12.840
Light shedule: 18/6
Plant unit : 4
CFL Bulb unit : 4
85 w = 5400 lumen
65 w = 3250 lumen
45 w = 2840 lumen
23 w = 1350 lumen
Other features: Mylar, natural air circulation, Nutrition (never used), nice soil with enough ph (5.5 - 6.5), water ph is 7, etc...

Note: from yesterday -after you told me to take the bulbs a little higher- one of the plant began to grow faster...

from the size of your box it looks like you should be able to top and still get a good yield if you still want to.
nice job on the infoman i gotta give you a plus rep for that.
if your plants grew more after you raised the light a little....then it sound to me like you found the sweet spot.

anything elsee you wanna know or need help with?
got any pics to update of your baby's?

Although i dont know what exactly rep or reputation is, first of all i want to thank you for the help and the rep : )
And for sure i will upload new pics of the babies when the lights come on. Now they are sleeping. shh :D

By the way; i ordered some new equipments which are;
-Nutrition: Piranha.
-Bulb: 100 w with 6000 lumen. (6400k, coolwhite)
-Reflector: Extra mylar for the ceiling.

i wonder what you would say for the pirana product? and the grow type with pure perlite? (Please check the picture below) or the ideal perlite percentage?

The Pirana product info:
Advanced Nutrients uses the best of nature and science. We work with eminent plant scientist Dr. Paul Hornby, whose dedication to plant health is unequalled.

Dr. Hornby spent years creating his series of powerful products that harness nature and science for your benefit. One of these products is Piranha Beneficial Fungi, which assists plants by improving their root zone. Piranha is also very useful as a foliar spray.

Piranha contains 26 types of beneficial fungi, including eight species of trichoderma and 18 species of ectomycorrhizal and endomycorrizhal fungi. Drawing on thousands of studies that detail the importance of mycorrhizal fungi, Dr. Hornby's further research found that such fungi exrete powerful chemicals that dissolve nutrients, absorb water, and promote soil porousity. Such actions greatly assist the development of root mass, nutrient absorption, and water absorption, via the symbiotic relationship between the plant, its roots, and the fungi.

In nature, the beneficial fungi found in Piranha contribute to healthy soil and plants that are able to resist drought, stress, and other problems that deter plant growth. Dr. Hornby's studies and field tests prove Piranha helps plants establish fruits and flowers faster, in greater abundance, and with increased yield, especially used in conjunction with Dr. Hornby's Voodoo Juice, which contains specialized beneficial bacteria, Piranha gives your plants a natural advantage not often found in modern growing situations, especially when growers are working indoors.
Try Piranha today. Your plants will thank you!

i havent started with those big pots. the biggest pot -there- is 30 cm X 30 cm.
i started with 5 cm X 5 cm sized pot during 20 days. then moved to those larger pots.
i said it twice for watering but this is my first week wiith the larger pots. so i guess 2 or 3 times they will need.

now it is certain.
the problem was the distance between bulbs and plants.
because i have been keeping the bulbs about 4 inch away from the plants and they are growing so fast now.

If you top now, you can have 2 colas. If you top when the 5th node starts down to between the 2nd and 3rd (there is an article here somewhere) that will get you 4 colas. Just looking at the plants I see a very slight yellowing on the bottom which is a sign of nutrient burn or water stress. It could just be the photo too. Lookin good overall. It ain't called weed for nothing bro.
