Look i want to use this flood and drain table set up. Its 3x3. Its has an optional gro-well 36 plant site or 24 plant site net well that uses net pots.I will by this system in peices so I can save $$$ and use what parts I want(ie stand I can build that myself). But ideally thats what Im looking at.Im not sure if I should use 400-600. I was think 400 because 4 ft. x 4ft. is for the primary growing area on that light. But then again 600 watt is more penitration.Im just worried about the wattage since I live in a 2 bedroom apt now.Should I go 24 or 36?With my minimal experince Im shooting for an easy ounce per plant dry weight.IM using the lollipop method(trimming 1/3 of the way up to form a single cola). I want to maybe flower at 12" but maybe even lower if i can and still achive my goal.I guess I may need two mother plants to push out that many clones. I will be using all fox farm nutes as well they did my first backyard grow good! The genitcs I will be using are Paradise White berry Seeds feminised(attitude seed bank). They say they are supposed to grow single cola plants but who knows till the grow.Well hopefully this is enough information for people to form a solid factual statement on wether my grow op is achivebale. Any advice and help i thank you in advance!bongsmilie

I wanted that table bad too. But then i looked in craigs list and got a 3x3 botanicare for 40 bucks. Botanicare rocks! I see shit like that in there every day. Before i got that i used a hd mortar mixing tray and an 18 gallon res. I bought ebb fixtures off eaby.
Right now i got a 400 but i want a 600. I just wanna upgrade lol, i want the best for my plants. I worried thoguh about electricty, i am medical but i not sure i should just go all out for a 1000 anyway. Notice sounds like no fun.
I got my 12 immature vegging then i will pick some clones and make a mom. That will give me 5 that i think i will scrog. not bad .
I got NL going. Ebb is fun and easy, but i run into prob with my medium. I am using rw and it is a pain in the ass to get right. Ultimately i predict it will be best.
4 in cubes in turbogarden pots i got at a hydro store with rw floc making up the dif in size. I can move the pots it is great.
I am using a card table as a stand! Saved me 100 or so bucks, lol, and an 18 gallon rubbermaid to flood 10 gallons.
4x4x6.5 tent. 400 hps with conversion bulb. 400 cfm inline fan and 6 inch charcoal filter. It is a nice setup.
I want that 600 or 1000 though, once again i am medical i just dont know ho the cops will react if they notive me. If anybody has any thought you could pm me.
Good luck man, if i were you i would go 600 or 1000 woth a 2 bedroom, i only got a 1 bedroom and this light is not causing any questions so far.

No, you will not be able to do that, 1/2 oz per plant in a sog or lollipopping grow is a decent goal for a grower with some experience, go for the 600watt and air cool it. I am running (2) 3x3 tables with a 1000 watt hps over the two of them, I posted the table I built to hold it, might like to take a look at that, its is the DIY Table for a Flood tray and I posted how I modified a res for about $6.50 total res cost under $40.00 for a 30 to 35 gallon res in my blues thread. Might like to stop by for a visit?

I guess I may need two mother plants to push out that many clones.
Al B estimated it would take 10 mothers for his 24 usable clones. Of course he is only producing three pounds a month.

May change your mind when the old man stops in, just the facts man. VV

VV is right.

You would be better served with a 4x4 tray, 30-35 gallon res and 64-5.5" black pots and a medium of your liking (not net pots, and don't get one of those trays with fixed cells either-there is no flexibity and when the roots grow together you will tear them to shit if you have to pull plants for spraying due to mold or pest problems). You could probably get out of it for a couple hundred bucks. I use store bought botanicare trays and resevoirs and they are top notch. 8x4 tray and 70 gallon res cost me about 400 a set. You can probably do like the other guy said and find them on craigslist or a discount online supply house.

Lighting-You need at least an air-cooled 600w or 2-400s (16ft2/800w=50w/ft2=perfection)

Mums-You will want 5-6 mums at first to provide you with extra vegetation to work with-take 20-24 cuttings every 2 weeks and select the best (or surviving) 16 for flowering every 15 days or so-you can pull a couple more and discard if you have runts after a couple weeks in flower. I run 4 plants/square foot and get 1/2-3/4 oz per plant running 1kw lights so you may not hit your numbers until you gain some experience and are able maintain the right temps and humidity levels at all times throughout flowering.

Good Luck
