Define "growing in the dark" plants need light to grow Temps? genetics? Looks fine it should perk up

Sent from my SCH-I545 using Rollitup mobile app

Give it some light and stop watering it. Let it dry out and water from the bottom only when the container gets dried out and and it is lite to the touch. Leave it alone for awhile and let it do it's thing. It looks okay right now... I hate seedlings.

like pitch black.. ok ill turn on the led - temps in 2nd pic along with humidity -- genetics its autoflower ny diesel by barneys

uh.. and i dont know if im stupid but everyone got me paranoid saying stuff about transplanting autoflowers whenever i read about autoflower grow so.. its in a big 3 gallon bucket... that small thing

Don't transplant auto's if you can help it. 3gal will be fine for it's whole life. It's a good idea to start in the final pot. Just go easy on the watering first couple of weeks until its root system is fully established. yes the plant needs light the moment it breaks the surface of the soil. get light on it ASAP. What lights are you going to be using? Have it on a 20/4 time schedule, which is best for Autos. Purple stems usually sort themselves out within 7-10 days, it's usually down to a colder environment (which I suspect, as she has been in the dark, the light will warm her up a bit) or lack of nutrients, but she won't need feeding for first week. In coco you will then want to start adding nutrients after the first 7 days at 1/8th or 1/4 strength as there are no pre-exisiting nutrients in coco. But beware - nutrient burn can stunt growth and everyday matters with autos. good luck

Appreciate the reply milkman.. the light i have is this one: http://www.amazon.com/Roleadro-Ligh...qid=1457024329&sr=8-10&keywords=led+grow+400w

yeah try not to put a gallon of water on it.(half a measuring cup of water around it till it grows) This thing will most likely shock in the net few days/weeks if it lives

Okay. I would start the light at about 24-28 inches above the seedlings, and lower after a couple of days, or as needed. Don't start with the light too close as this will shock the seedling and stunt it some more. Mine is a 240W LED and I start mine at around 24 inches.

Appreciate the help guys.. so i turned on the light immediately after you guys advice and 3 hrs later here it is

looks normal now.. ill care about the nutrients as you guys said.. and ill try not to pamper it too much but its my first baby :p

The main mistake I made on my first grow was overcaring. I know it's hard! Good luck. Just keep an eye on environment and overwatering/overfeeding. And let her do her thing! Glad the light has worked. Remember. Less is usually more!

Like everyone else said let it dry and and she will be fine, get her in a good light cycle tho! 18-6 20-4 or 24-0!
