I brek the hell out of my outdoor, do chiropractic on plants, man they get strong branches, twist lengthwise cracks phoelome i believe its called, big knuckles all over, big buds too, this year one plant had buds the size or my leg, and 8 of them almost as big on one plant, 50 smartpot works great, but 200gal is better, outdoor only, lol. I have two 75 gal reservoirs filled with promix hp and have amended each year, one plant each pot, man they get big. Bigger roots, bigger fruits right.

If I plant a new one, at what certain length and girth can I start chiropracting her, and how long do I wait till the next session?

I usually wait until they have reached 6 nodes before I top, then another 4 nodes on the new growth before bending her over. They are very resilient plants and can recover well even if it is done early on. I have seen people supercrop at 2 nodes before. That seems a little young to me, but everyone has their own ways of doing things.

I wouldn't have even bothered to tape it up. It will be fine. In the future if you supercrop you might try and squish the stem more where you make the bend. Other than that you just reduced the height of your plant and that top will continue to grow just fine. I've been pretty rough with plants and they always keep growing like nothing happened.

Looks like youre good! The plant will form a huge knuckle and that stem will be strong. I think you covered with tape, right? Thats the way to do it.
Tape probably doesn't hurt but in the decades I've been smashing and bending stems I've never once used tape. And I've ripped stems open pretty good. Many just hanging by a thread. Never had an issue. But there is nothing wrong with more concern and care. :peace:
