I perfected an authentic buffalo wing sauce from scratch and have been wondering for years what it would taste like with cannabutter substituted for the real stuff. I can't bring myself to do it though because when I taste it in my mind the minty weed flavor that comes through in chocolate chip cannacookies clashes with the cheyenne peppers and added vinegar.

When i cook with it i just keep it simple. I put a spoon full on the pasta mix it up and then put extra sause to dilute the taste of the canna butter. Also goes good with ramen noodles lol

The trick to that is using a concentrate to make the cannabutter instead of flower. The concentrate won't have that strong plant flavor, or if you can get distillate it won't really have any flavor. It also makes it much easier to get a rough dosage on the edibles.

I make my trim and smallest buds into QWISO and then use that to make edibles. OR reclaim from an oil rig makes excellent edibles and you are saving something you would have thrown away.

I know a few old dudes that'll roll buds in their hand kind of like hash and eat those. First time I ever tried it I ended up having a nice 16 hour nap.

Sounds like itd be quite the mix. I'd try it out but maybe try making the butter with oil or some sort of concentrate. May cut down on the taste some.

I used to make butter in a crockpot, you are right it is simple and it works. BUT it does taste horrible. Once I started making my own QWISO, which is very fast and simple, I havn't made a batch of regular butter in years. I make the qwiso and it literally melts into whatever butter or oil I want to use in a recipe. Or dissolve it in alcohol and put it in a hot candy mixture to make infused candies :). Simple as can be.

Quick Wash hash made with ISOpropyl alcohol. works ok, not as good as qwet though, which is Quick Wash with EThanol.
don't try it with the 70% stuff, though, get at least 91%, or you'll be waiting forever for all the water to evaporate. same with ethanol, the higher the proof, the better

That's a great idea! All the edibles I've had were made with flowers, which explains the minty flavor. I'm gonna do it now in a few weeks. Maybe I'll even post my secret recipe

Please do! I can never turn down a good recipe. All this talk makes me want to make some edibles.
