Yeah, a lot of people wish they had the willpower to do the same and because they don't, they like to try and hold others back as well. Another common trend is potheads lying about how weed doesn't adversely effect them in any way and that everything about it is positive. It's an act that gets rehearsed every time someone points out how weed is negatively affecting them. They'll bring up their job or responsibilities to try and prove how it doesn't affect them.. as if motivation or employment status is the only thing that can be damaged from smoking weed all the time. And just because weed may have improved some random aspect of your life doesn't mean that you can't feel even better than that while sober. Just because you didn't figure it out while sober doesn't mean that cannabis is some savior, it just temporarily masks symptoms. Some people also "medicate" symptoms that wouldn't even be there if they didn't smoke in the first place.... just dumb. Medicinally and psychologically, cannabis has a lot of benefits, but most people don't smoke for those reasons.
