only when you stick your finger in the soil and it feels dry... don't over water.... I have to water everyday sometimes, but somedays it's still moist enough.... it's better for the plant to be dry for a day, rather than it being flooded....
Yeh man I had the same problem. Easier to over water then to underwater. So I would water them then let soil get pretty dry before you water again. Flood, then dry. makes the roots work for the water. Heres a post that garden posted on my thread to help me out. Anyway you could get some picture whitey?
"it is important to water at last 1/2 - 1 gallon of water per plant per watering... mass quanity with minumum fequency is the ideal watering method.. this promotes even root growth throughout the entire container..
FLOOD and then let dry.. then FLOOD.. then let dry..
in 75 degree temps a plant should only need water every 3-10 days.. depending on its size and stage of life cycle...
it is also very important that you pH your water,,without pH ing your water it is impossible to know what the nutrient deficiencys are..."
