I use General Hydroponics in soil and never check PH levels and my plants are awesome

I think PH issues are more of an issue in Hydro set ups. Flushing regularly and not over doing it is key.

Love General Hydroponics. I have bin' using FloraNova this year. One cap full per gallon almost every watering without checking my PH and have bin' doing fine. I have a PH meter but normally don't use it unless I see something wrong...
Edit: I find it to be working just as good if not better then Fox Farms Big Bloom or Tiger Bloom

It all depends on your circumstances man. You guys may have a water source that plays nice with your nutrients, and just happens to end up in the proper PH range after mixing. Some people are not that lucky. My water, after mixing in my nutes is at around 5.1 PH. I would never give water at this ph to my plants in soil or any other medium. PH is important, especially for chemical ferts. Maybe not so much in a 100% organic TLO style grow, but when using chem ferts its definitely important to keep a vigilant eye on PH.

agreed, we may well have been lucky. It makes sense as we have some of the best water on earth here. It is minimally treated and has no weird flavors, like some hard waters.

GH is pretty good, its used by NASA for f*&^ sakes, so why not.

We got a pretty good yield. Probably over a pound or so for 6 good plants and one premature one that was cut.

Have studies shown a big difference in organic vs non. And how much organic additives do you add, these bitches get hungry quick.
