i used tiger bloom for first time today

i phed the nutes//water up from 5.0 to 6.5. the runoff came out around 7.5. was i right in ph'ng the water up or should i have left it at 5.0.

I believe always good to PH.

But why the runofff is so high is troubling. What is the ph of the water with no nutes?
