nah bro nah. i live in the desert, and i chopped the bananas real fine and mixed them in to the soil. I put them in a strainer and ran hot water over them as well for some reason. It's not just a brown and yellow sloppy mess. I made it look nice.
still, i wouldnt mess with it. you know they found them fruit flies in outer space right? on a goddamn rocketship! i just hate em thats all...come from nowhere, and refuses to go away.
oh shit fruit flies in space? Is their any special way to avoid fruit flies if the banana peels do attract alot of them and become a problem?

Not even close. Chop as fine as you want. Add all the worms it can feed. Still wont support a plant in a container. Now do all this a couple of months ahead of time. Then mix the compost with some spaghnum and perlite. Make teas with the ongoing compost...now you are growing.....Alright now what if i throw all my compost material, banana peels, coffee grounds, and all that good stuff, into the soil and plant a seed in their right away. Since it hasn't already composted, it will compost with the plant in the soil, resulting in a slow perfect release of nutrients. The coffee grounds will provide the nitrogen, and the banana peels will provide potassium and phosphate. and some other stuff too
What if or did? WTF? The reason most folks shy away from organic growing is the effort involved to do it right. Synthetics are much easier...

Stink and the rest are right. Wont work and just asking for bugs, shit growth and dissapointment... Compost is great stuff. But once it is compost. And finished compost takes time. In the right bin, 3 weeks. Outdoor pile maybe 2 or 3 months. Depending on how well it has been turned and aerated. Staging a grow to coincide with one another...would be emaculate...
You got balls! Good for you! And thats honest and sincere. You have no clue who we are. Keep us updated on how its going. One thing. Go easy on the coffee grounds. They are a instant source of N, Iron and a bunch of other things, so go easy on them...
