I want a colorado medical card. How hard is it, what do i got to say to the DR?

I live way out in the prarrie, got a colorado drivers licence, But am not sure what to tell the Dr to get a med card. I dont have cronic illnesses?

What did you guys tell em?
What proof do they need of your ailment?
Do the Drs report you if they dont believe you?
How long is the paper work wait?
Tell me how to do it ?

Any help would be appreciated!:joint:

well you could try saying chronic pain, BUT they just passed a new law that changes things, there are now no docs allowed to get paid by disp's and you must now have a REAL relationship with the doc. it has been tightened way down

Yeah riddleme is right. Unless you have a condition that a doctor can confirm with an examination ( I have a knee that was shredded in a skiing accident, and brother has pins in his ankle ) you're going to have to allow Dr. to examine and perhaps take some tests to establish your chronic pain. I Have a friend with severe migraines, and he was told his condition had to be verified by nine years of medical records before he could be certified, but I think he is getting the run around more because he is only 19 than anything else. Even with the new law, I think if you hunt long enough you will be able to find a DR. still willing to certify, but may have to grease the wheels by allowing additional tests.

Not to be an ass but here goes.
Youir the type of person that has caused the politicians to make new laws to help curb abuse. Now the real patients suffer from the backlash of the new laws.

If your a rec smoker, be a man/woman and take your chances with LEO, don't screw it up for legit patients.

Yeah i held off getting cause im not realy hurting lol.

All weed should be leagal. but its not.
So the choice is clear , get a card an never worry again about finding good weed with no cops or risk cops an social workers fuckn my life up.
If it takes 9 yrs its still worth it. Maybe ill make my brother get one he could pass it legit?

All you medical smokers owe the passage if the medial marijuana to the rec smokers, the kind weed you enjoy was bread by/for rec smokers. So hook up your friends/ family for me?

Well we are all hurting from the unjust laws in the U.S. and Im not about to blame the actions of corrupt ignorant law makers on someone who is trying to smoke herb in PEACE. No one should have to fear for their life when smoking herb... OVERGROW THE SYSTEM.

I've been taking a break from meetings lately so I'm not sure which meeting you speak of. If you tell me I would be happy to attend to meet up. I'm sure that we have a commonality between us. Just because we have different views is not to say either one is more right then the other. I would just like to understand your position and may be I'll learn something.

shit my mom went to her doc ...she had cancer ...her doc told her flat out ...he wont help her... he does not give merit to Medical marijuana...now whats she going to do.

That new law basically screwed her out of being legal....:evil: Guess we just do like we been doin..fuck the laws

begin to educate yourselves with material like Jack herers book the emperor wears no clothes (found here http://www.jackherer.com/chapters.html ) or contact groups like Norml (http://norml.org/)

there are tons of good documentaries you can watch to glean the info from, you really have to start good communication with this Doc!

i can help you find the info you need if you pm me, also you might have to find a more friend primary if this one absolutely wont budge with a reasonable argument!

most of science has lived in a very deep and dark hole for the last hundred years concerning cannabis, so their bias always leans away from something they dont understand (being most doctors dont understand how cannabis works in relation with man and wont even begin to acknowledge that it hasnt any benefit medically.)
