so i have been playing around with no till soil grows indoor for the past year but yeild have been that low its not even funny . went from 7 plus OZ with synthetic nutrients in a 2/3ft space coca down to 2 OZ in the same space running soil

my plants have finished vegging and about ready to go in to flower. they are already in soil but i want to go back to synthetic nutrients

so A: use bloom nutrients in the soil or B: kill the plants and start over in coca

basicly my question is . should i use synthetic nutrients in soil or am i just going to waste more of my time. i havent tried it in the past

next run i know im going back to coca

guess what photo is organic and whats synthetic nutrients pretty much both the same age given a week or so different runs

i feed liquid kelp topdress and give compost teas . topdress every 3 weeks . unfortunitly being in a small space im bed size limmited what is clearly effecting yeald . not my feeding of the plant . if you think i can teat it like coca for the rest of the run . then im a finish them like that and ether go back to dwc or coca not 100% on what one . probably coca as my pumps are 6 years old now and odds they will die lol

at week 4 i like to mix up a bit of soil with a handfull of mpk to topdress before flowering starts works better than pouring $$$ of bottled nutes on them :weed:
Agreed, I’m more of a top dresser myself although I got nothing wrong with bottled nutes as long as you know what you’re doing and it works for you than go for it

I’ve only grown in soil. I hear coca is higher yields when done properly but it doesn’t suit my needs as a grower as I prefer hand watering every few days. And more of an organic style

Ya I love build a soil but I’m far from a “living soil” grower. I just use organic nutrients (kelp, alfalfa meal etc)
Someday I’d love to have a bad ass walk in 10x20 tent with “quadrants” and true living soil beds like Jermey does at build a soil.

topdressing with a well draining soil (they still need to breath) helps with the water retention around the roots as well

dont go to high ppm if you do want to run bloom nutes

There is no reason why you can't out prefor 7oz/plant or 7oz/sqM. My last tear down
1 super lemon haze
7gal pot (happy frog)
300w (2 mars hydro ts 1000)
2x4 tent
250g
I was kinda disapointed

i was pulling 7+ oz from 150w spiderfarmer sf2000 in 8 week ez every run for over 3 years but on synthetics
im sure you could match that with more experience in organics but im done with it. dirt can stay outside from now on
