thanks wmf. that shit wouldnt lighten up w all the tricks in my bag. perhaps 24 hrs is to long resident time w solvent? breaking down chlorophills at this point? activated charcoal lightened it up only a bit, but the shit dabbs way clean. i just started dabbing like 2 weeks ago and i had no idea my xtrax were as tastey as they are. just used to swipe a zag in the oil then blaze or put that shit in the pookie, but it goes in the vapor globe now. pookie is more efficent, but more universally frowned upon. there isnt the waste involved when not heating the nail hot enough, then reheating nail w xtrax on it, waste.

What's pookie? And I have no experience with co2, but I would assume 24 hours in contact with the solvent is a wee bit long...right?

Would you rather have a higher pressure and lower amount of time in contact with the material?

I heard you can also dissolve your oil in isopropyol or hexane and then put it in the freezer, the waxes and fats will coagulate on the top and can be strained out. Then evaporate and smoke. Just a thought, may or may not work.

Also you could try some winterization where you pull out polar compounds using water and hexane?

winterization w ethanol chilled two days @ -52c then diluted extract 3:1- 1:1 ratio, run down a column of activated charcoal, then filtered through a 20um filter and slight vaccuum. I will steam distill under a vaccuum to also attempt to preserve color, flavours and speed up the process a bit.

okay i dont sell on ebay yet, my oils are way cleaner than bsho extracts, even all black. so fresh, so simple, so cost effective, so easily beats bho given same plant matter used etc etcall but 1 catagory, and thats time. co2 takes longer but can be done fast in a couple hrs if so choose to. and it utilizes any gas for extraction. butane, hexane, propane, nitrous oxide, co2, accetalyne, r134a, whatever. tazminian cant do that.
