Hi just a quick question, what are the implications if I wire and build timeclock controlled contactor that have multiple sockets on, so I would buy all the components and use an enclosure as a box to hold everything with sockets trailing off.when I say implications I mean is this sort of thing allowed to be sold on eBay? Or am I wasting my time.thanks :)

I'm really lacking what you are trying to achieve but I guess anything is possible.

I believe much of what you talk about can be easily purchase in Home Depot.....when it comes to electricty, I prefer something professionally built c/w FCC certification/approval

Try to make it foolproof at least. Maybe square d 40a contactors, 8" box with 2 quad receptacles surface mounted on each side, intermatic mechanical timer for switching the coil(120v). Fused disconnect, 120/240 compatible, etc.
