ideas for a small closet

greetings gang. Finally moved to a new town. I have an all bills paid place.

I have a small closet maybe 2 feet by 2 feet square. I cannot cut any holes in the closet or door and need to be as stealth as I can be.

I will be growing dwc for sure. I'd love to hear any suggestions on what I should do. It will be a small grow. Just two plants to start with. I'm thinking about using a 150 or 250 hps.

I'll have to flower early to keep them small I know. I understand how to grow in looking for setup information. I'll post pics after I clean out the closet.

thanks a bunch

What I would do if you can't cut anything and want bigger lights, is make a small room using about 70% of the height of the closet sealed with a roll of mylar. Then run a 250 or 400w in it, and run an exhaust vent out the top. With the front sealed (with a velcro door), you can leave the closet door open in lights on and keep airflow.

You can incorporate a passive intake at the front (about 2" up above the bottom of the door), so air will be pulled in from under the door in lights off, and with the closet open at lights on, you'll have ample intake.

do I just tape the sheets together? How much mylar should I get? I have to be stealth so no holes will be cut. ill go back to cfls first. I will try the mylar suggestion.

So i need a velcro zipper. would panda film be easier to work with?
how much panda film would i need to buy?

I started out in an apartment closet just like that. I got panda film and made a new door out of that, leaving the wood door left open. Then you can easily cut exhaust and intake holes into the panda film. It is also stealthy because if needed you can shut the actual wooden door and seal up the whole operation.

As for light you should buy an air cooled 400w hps. You will need to buy an intake fan anyways, so might as well cool your light.
I was able to pull 10-12oz most grows. Your next big investment should be a grow tent. Makes life much easier than dealing with the closet troubles.

I also started with a 250w hps and it was not a worthy investment. I upgraded to the 400w and it was a huge improvement. I dont even use my 250 any more.

I'm going to buy a 400w. I have to keep my grows stealth so I have to keep it in the closet.

so I should get a cool tube? Or are you talking about a different one?

how many plants did you grow to pull 10 zips?

should I wait and buy a tent to fit in the closet? Or just make a door out of panda film and cut a hole for intake and a hole for vent in the panda film door?

I grew 4 plants dwc in 5gal buckets,30 plants in 2L hempy, 5 plants in organic mix, 9 plants in 2gal, 3gal, and 5gal of coco. They all seemed to yield about the same honestly. The most important thing is good genes.

No the tent would be outside of closet. My tent now is 4x4 which wouldn't fit in your closet.
The cheaper route would be the panda film door. I bought a 3x3 tent for less than $100 and a 4x4 for a little over $100 on ebay. (with a 600w in either tent and I pull a lb almost every time.)

As for reflector, it doesn't really matter. I have a cooltube and a big square air-cooled hood. Either one will get the job done.

No matter what you need to get yourself some good genes if you want big yields.

dang that's smaller than my closet. I dont see how you could grow more than 2 plants in there unless you were doing like a sog type thing.
