I think I used the wrong term Carbon Scrubber. I run my intake through a charcoal filter before expelling it to the exterior. I tried just venting to the outside with nothing & made the rear yard smell like a family of skunks moved in. I filtered it through the bounce sheets. That made it smell like a bunch of skunks who did a lot of laundry :) Charcoal filter to exhaust fan exhaust fan to exterior.

I agree a scrubber would do nothing for him to cool the room.

did u get the right kind. i believe ur suppose to use activated carbon. and they should sell it anywhere they sell fishtank related things. but smell is not really a problem yet for my crop so dont quote me on that. u can read every book in the world on the matter but experience is the best teacher

Not to be an un-useful dick lol but ya hear ya when you said "i didn't expect this to be a problem so soon with a bag seed plant'' :) Me neither, just setting up my grow room and have 12 bag seeds on my hands now all 10-20" and i was just using them to practice figuring i'd kill 'em all transplanting, experimenting with temps, etc...don't have to tell you! but hey idk if anyone said this but ya you gotta get some cool air coming in on bottom (worked miracles for me) and the bath vent on top...damn condo life tho with that odor is scary. good luck man! (don't overwater and check this link great for beginners but idk about the site as a whole)

I use a bathroom vent on my growbox and i made a filter with activated carbon. you ever see the one you make with pencil holders? i don't that but i made 2 of them and attached them together and ducktaped them atleast half way if not more so it blows completly through one then the other my plants are a few weeks and flowering and i smell nothing =) prolly will only last about 6 month worth of flowering plants and only costed me about 10$. i also hooked up a control dial so i could control my fan speed
