Hello ,
If I buy , say 10 , purple strain seeds , and plant them all ,
Is there a way to tell if there is a purple Pheno during vegetative growth?

Or do you need to wait till flowering to see if any of them
Are purple phenos?

Thanks

you will get the most definite answer after they flower, and you can see what the nugs look like...

during a pheno hunt most people will...
label there plants... lets use A, B, C, D
take 3-5 clones from each plant during veg, label those clones with corresponding letter, such as clone A1, D3, B5 etc.
flower out your original plants A, B, C, D... during flower and/or after you chop, when you have found the most desirable plant thats to your liking, you will then have 3-5 clones of the phenotype you like.

I hope that makes sense

That seems a reasonable path.

I am considering the same approach as a fallback plan to see which of my new mothers
are males. I hope to see "pre-flowers" but apparently have weeks to wait before I have
hope of seeing one.

Good luck OP!
