If A Gardner was using miracle grow moisture control...

So it just moisture control MG water and during flowering guano at random times and methods of delivery. Works good, but what would be a better right out of the bag soil that would perform the same or better for just replacing the soil?? Not anything else but the soil. Something that won't nuts burn young ones and kinda has a moisture control type quality. Main stream brands preferred and main location of sale and average current price say per small bag like 2 gallon bucket full

Let's see what RIU says

there are so many good soils that are made to use right out of the bag....do a quick google search and you can see them....way to many to list...but as mentioned before....fox farm light warrior is good for seedlings and clones and fox farm ocean forest is good for veg/flower, just to name a few

I've been using MGMC with extra perilite and it's worked pretty well. There's not a store within 100 miles that sells fox farms or anything else remotely close for that matter. Every time I tried to make my own the ammonia smell from the nitrogen being broken down would kill me, so I stick with MGMC or just straight organic MG.

The best soils are made organically, in your own backyard using a bucket and different ingredients; perlite, spagh peat moss, ocean fertilizer, 5% sand, worm casting, etc...

...I personally use FFOF....depending on your pot size and age/size of plant, FFOF can easily go a month without any fertilizers (or microbe boost for the organic crowd). If you want to continue organics, I'd like to suggest an AACT to repopulate/feed your microherd....theirs a really great book written by Jeff Lowenfels and Wayne Lewis, named, "Teaming with Microbes," ... I started a thread based on.... the book, you can view here ---> https://www.rollitup.org/organics/427826-soil-food-web-gardening-compost.html

Ya price isn't really a concern. I mean I'm not limitless on funds but if a $20 bag of soil is better outta the bag for me the way I use it, then it's worth paying double. Now if it's like more than double I can stick to what I know.

only using like 2 and maybe 3 gallon pots and Trying to use soil once for about 3 months then thrown out. Only growing for about a month before bloom
