Hi, At most hardware stores you can buy a plug slotted 'outlet' that threads into a light socket. Then you can move your mini fan around for best effect. GrowIT!

Other than a ceiling fan, I don;t see a standard ceiling light fixture supporting the weight of a fan big enough to circulate the air enough. On top of that, it would most likley just blow straight down and lose any circulating effect from an 8 foot ceiling.,,,JMO

ya that pic is wild i gotta show that to my uncle hes a big antique buff and way into weird things like that
my question would be how heavy is something like that, and how safely a light socket in a ceiling could really handle it (i imagine that would be the ONLY way)
