Usually what I do for my 10+ gallons of soil is I add bat guano every week or so and water every day and it works great. When using nutrients or supplements (I use Super Thrive from time to time, Mag-Cal every week or so, Silica boost every week, Hygrozyme every week, guano every week, and my nutrients which I'm temping General Hydroponics Flora Series. Usually I would use Bcuz or Fox Farm series.) Then I just water normal every day from 2-5 gallons a day. I water 2x a day on hot days.
Just for the record, this post made me RUN for my plants and I found them wilting. So thanks very much! We've been having some very hot weather after a lot of cloudy weather, and I got behind in the water. Coupla gallons each and they're perky again.
