if i was to do this how bigg...

i was going to start a 6x6 room for flowering with 2 600watt hps's but if i did this with 8 plants in it how big would my veg room have to be? i was planning of having veg., clone, and mother plants all in the one room so how big would it have to be and how many floro fixture would i need to make it work... i would be only having the plant 2 foot tall then put it into flowering.. and i would only have 2-3 mother plants...

My current room dimensions would be 10 x 12. I have a 6 x 8 flower area. And the remaining space for cloning/ seedling chamber and a vegetative area. I have 3 mothers and possibly add two more. I use one fluorofixture with two bulbs for the clone/seedling chamber. I have a 400 W MH for the vegetative area which also provides residual light to the clone/seedling chamber. Sounds like you are planning a perpetual harvest. With the remaining space you have, you could easily accomodate if not more the plant specifications you have in mind. Good luck.

If you can do a 2 story veg room, floor space can be around 1/10 that of the flowering room

i have lots of room for a regular floor grow for the flower room but i was thinking it over and i would make the veg room about 5x6 have 3 mothers, 8 -2ft plants and the clones so i'd put 3 plants per floro fixture and give the 2-3mothers 1 4ft fixture then the clones would be on a shelf on the wall with a heating pad and it would have enought light from the others

If you have access to cheap quality reliable clones then don't have a veg and a flower room. Buy clones veg for a month flower for two. The whole room. Harvest every three months. Easy as pie. Why does everyone want to do this split room shit. I don't understand the benefit cost analysis people are using to get to this conclusion. Unless you don't have access to clones then it make perfect sense.

yeah i don't have acess to clones or seeds for that matter... i start it and keep them going...that's y i need a veg room
