You need to put plastic wrap over your paper towel or it will dry out real fast. You need to keep that bitch moist too. If need be replace the towel once a day (if no tap root is showing).

I germ my seeds in a wet paper towel and an air tight jar. I usually put a sock over it though cause roots don't like light. I'm pretty sure it's worked every time. Ziplock bags work just as well though, just leave it in a dark place.

Dark warm spot in a zip lock is the way i go, never had a dry paper towel before everything was germed. Remoisten and put into a baggie, hope for the best. I blow into the bag to to help it stay warm and moist.

All you gotta do is put some more water on the paper towel and wrap it up in plastic wrap or put it in a baggie of some sort to help keep the moisture in. They should germ no prob

1. soak your seeds for 24hours in distilled water or R.O. then after 24 hours put in a moist paper towel. Most good beans, from experience, crack and pop with 24 hours after being soaked, put in plastic bag if you can't pay attention to it. But to answer your question, its another one of those questions that has mulitiple answers, but you probably know by now. So how did it go ? I never scrap a seed unless it doesn't do anything for a week then she's a goner

I soak mine for 24 hrs, and toss them in starting soil, with a humidity dome, and a seed heating mat (or grodan if you are not in soil) and it has never failed. 20 for 20.

1. wet paper towel
2. put seeds on paper towel and fold so it fits in ziplock
3. put paper towel in ziplock keep it open do not seal the ziplock
4. lay it flat on your hot water tank
5. wait
u should get a taproot within 24hrs this is how i do it. then carefully transplant into moist/wet soil.
the heat from the hot water tank should stimulate growth faster.
