When you tell me that I cant have an AR15 and/or a 100 round magazine what do you think you are doing?
The constitution did not discuss hunting at all in the 2nd amendment... Why are you trying to confuse the issue?

Again, tell me what Shit is hitting the fan? Because so far in my life, I haven't seen it. I'm sure you will come up with some b.s. excuse like Waco, or 9/11 or whatever else you may say, but that stuff doesn't scare me. Maybe you're just a pussy. Maybe the terrorists have defeated you, but they haven't defeated me because they haven't instilled "terror" in my heart. I get up and go to work everyday just the same as I did 20 years ago. I don't go out to my car in fear wondering if someone is plotting against me.
I'm a normal person, and normal people don't worry about that one in a trillion chance that a terrorist attack is looming, or that "Big Brother" is out to get me.
Get some help guy, you can see a psychiatrist for your problems, and maybe even get some meds out of it too.

The shit just hit the fan in NY and NJ within the last 2 months... Massive storm took out power to some people for months. No power, no ability to call police, no alarm systems. Gangs of looters breaking into houses and stealing shit...

I hunt with a saiga rifle that is 223 for deer.
Took 2 last year with it,and my hunting buddy has been using one for years.
I got a 100 rd mag for it,So what does that mean anyways.

Again, you can't answer the question. Why do you NEED an AR-15. You can only say that you WANT an AR-15 with 100 rounds, but where is the need? Are the terrorists coming for you? If so I'm sure we have home land security for that.
Again, to keep repeating yourself with "The 2nd Amendment" doesn't expose a NEED for having military style weapons in the hands of civilians and others who don't know how to properly use them or store them.
So...lets try this again...why do you NEED assault weapons? You stated that it has nothing to do with hunting, so o.k., we can check that off the list. Are you a criminal that's facing a gang war?

What liberals do not realize is that having a larger capacity magazine is not necessarily a good thing.
If you have a 100 mag and it jams after 20 or so rounds, the whole mag is worthless until you fix the jam.
If you have 10-10 round magazines and 1 jams, then simply eject, reload and continue....

Why do you need to carry that many bullets to go hunting. LMAO you must be a horrible shot. From my experience in the woods, and yes, I've had plenty, but usually when you take one shot at a deer or other wild animal, they do what......yes that's correct, they start running. So, if you are taking all 100 shots at a deer in order to kill it maybe you are being an irresponsible gun owner. Because if you are spraying the woods with that many rounds, you may, just may hit another hunter who is out there that you can't see.

What gun nuts don't realize is that you will never in your life have a need to use more than 10 rounds. Ok, maybe you go to the range and want to target practice and don't feel like having to reload after ten shots, well, stop being lazy. An intruder won't stick around long enough to find out if you have a ten round mag or a 10 round mag once they hear that first shot. Stop being scared.

I know all about home invasions and burglaries. Over the past 1 1/2 my house was broken into 4 times. Luckily for the intruder I wasn't home. If I need more than a few shots to take care of one person who breaks into my home then maybe I don't need a gun at all. Part of being a responsible gun owner is knowing how to use your gun and being able to hit your target. Why do you think they make you take accuracy tests when getting your CCW's . I've had my CCW's for a while and can tell you I've never had to use my gun for anything other than having fun out in the woods.
And all you're trying to do is skew things. Over a million times a year we have home invasions, maybe, but how many times does it result in the home owner saving the lives of others because he took out a machine gun and sprayed the shit out of his neighborhood. Like I said before, give me just 5 shots and I guarantee that if someone, or even two people break in while I'm home and those 5 shots will take care of business.
As for the other dude talking about the bullets jamming in the magazine. Maybe you should clean your stuff better or more often. Or maybe, you should stop buying POS guns and accessories. Again, in my life time and as many shots I've fired from many different guns, I've only had a few times that I had a misfire, and it wasn't caused by the mag jamming. It was either a dud bullet because I bought the cheap ones to do target practice with, or because I was using someone elses old gun that wasn't cleaned properly and the slide didn't work the way it's suppose to because it was all gummed up with black powder gunk.

If I was scared of people with guns I would have to be scared of myself, and everyone in my entire family lol. I plan on teaching my son how to use guns once he is old enough. I got my start with a 38 revolver when I was 8 years old, so I'm thinking I'll do the same with my son when he's 8, that is if he shows he is capable of it.

How many magazines do you have above 7 rounds? The mayor of NY believes you should not have any magazines above 7 rounds. But he also does not believe you should have any soft drink above 16 ounces so he has already proven to be a micromanaging idiot...

noxiously, I agree with you for the most part. I too don't see any practical need for the average citizen to own an assault rifle and a 100 round magazine. BUT, it isn't a s clear cut as it may seem at first glance.
Lets say the assault weapon ban and ban on large capacity magazines goes in to effect. What about all of the assault rifles and large capacity magazines already out there? Do we send the brown suits around door to door to collect them, and if so how do you think that will go over? Is that even feasible? Let's take this a step further, and pretend the door to door campaign is a success. What's stopping these types of weapons from being smuggled in through our very porous borders?
Banning weapons seems impractical to me. As a society we have embraced the right to bear arms, and as such it would be next to impossible to implement any type of weapons ban. I'm hoping to see some type of system implemented where we can easily identify who is allowed to have a gun (any gun), and who isn't. We then would need to make the penalties very stiff for anyone caught with a gun that isn't supposed to have one.
I don't think we can EVER prevent tragedies like Sandy Hook from happening. If someone is nutty enough to do something like that, then no amount of legislation will be able to prevent it. What we may have better luck in preventing is the nickle and dime thugs who think they're bad ass carrying around a stolen pistol. If they knew they would face a mandatory minimum 10, 15, or 20 year sentence for JUST being caught with a gun, it may deter some from going that route, and perhaps make our inner cities a little safer.
It's a very complex issue, imo.

Do you think the German people saw Hitler as a Tyrant at first? How about the Russians w/ Stalin? Or are you one of those people that say's this is America, that can't ever happen here. Lets just say that Obama is not a tyranical dictator, but what about the next, president... see where I am going with this? The second amendment was put in place as a check and balance system, giving the people the power. If you choose to not own a (so called) assualt weapon, that is your choice. But please do not try to tell law abiding citizens what they should not be able to purchase with their hard earned money.
