hi i want to know how to vent properly the room is about 200sq feet and eventually will be running 5 600watt HPS in there i dont really have an idea on how to vent it ..the room has a window that i plan on using for the exhaust and a hole that i was planning to use as the intake it comes in from the furnace room ill only be running 2 lights at 1st tho but i wana make sure everything is vented good im also using co2 pls help me out

are you using all 200 sq ft of floor space to grow?? if so dont even start and do what Yota said.

well it depends on how you cool the lights, with air cooled lights you can have a preferably 8 inch carbon filter and a fan drawing out the top of the room, fir your intake you want like a 4 inch drawing in from the bottom of the room, ideally you would use a filter on that also so that you wouldn't be sucking in pests, if i were you i would use a small window ac unit to cool the room, if you are using co2 then its in in your best interest to air cool the lights, that way you can vent less and still keep the temps in control, this is just a rough idea of what you will be doing but it sounds exciting having a grow like that

Just spend the money and get the cooltubes and blow the air outside through a carbon filter like above stated. Plus those huge hid lights were made to be used with a cooltube. i swear on my life i live in canada. its winter now. i have 430 running in my room vented and my 12 by 12 bedroom still climbs to 84. thats room temp and not under the lights. cooltubes = problem solved. expensive though kinda

you prob know already but pumping the gas into the room may leak into the house. it causes you to age faster breathing it in. its not a huge issue but be safe man!
