Curing actually help potency as well as taste, it all depends on how early the bud was harvested. You see if the bud was harvested after the trichomes have already turned amber then the curing process its not going to make much difference in terms of potency but it will help the taste of the bud because more chlorophyll dies. But if the plant was harvested when the trichomes were slightly amber but mostly cloudy then the curing process will actually to help to increase the potency because the metabolic process of the cells can still produce thc even after the plant dies, well as long as there is at least a decent ammount of moisture remaining in the bud during the curing process. around 15-25% moisture is ideal for curing.

but if your like me you wont want to wait and you'll end up drying ur buds fast on the back of your xbox 360 cooling fan
hehe i know its horrible but at least i get to smoke soon ;)

What I've just read has definitely explained the scenario I am hoping for. I need to be disciplined and patient and wait for the cure to remove the chlorophyll and other elements. These posts have amazingly calmed my panic. I at least have hope that I didn't screw up this time.
