Please don't drag me into your argument. I was convinced just by looking at the XGS specs that it would be good a flowering light. I'm just into quality and go the extra yard to add supplemental lights to get it,like UVB,730 nm and 660 nm. Seems all the quality mass produced panels don't cover all the bases,probable to keep costs down.Even the SGS which seems to be a proven flower panel uses 630 nm reds,most lights fall off after 630 nm.I think the XGS's spectrum should do a great job but I like to add all the extra bells and whistles to get that extra quality and quantity. I like to DIY but with LED's I've chosen to put together off the shelf units to get what I want,I get the spectrum I want and also have a warranty to fall back on.Looks like Captain Morgan is adding red light to his XGS as well.
