, you mean a whole Gavita package with a dimm and reflector? I watched video and it seems nice I just dont like an idea about ordering new reflector every year, they say that reflector must be replaced. I thought about 600w with Adjust a wing medium and some dimm, people have good results.

I have not read anywhere that the reflector needs to be replaced every year, nor do I see a reason why this would be the case.I have 3 meters / 9ft ceiling so its nice
The bulbs last a couple of years on 12/12. The reflector should last much longer than that. The reflector gets outstanding coverage perpendicular to the light orientation, not so great in the other direction but not bad.

that shit will add up if you're running 20 lights and it's been said by Gativa if you don't put the bulb in correctly it causes an arc which in turn burns out the bulb

Those bulbs look so fragile. Remember i used to be scared of them cracking when i'd screw them in and there was friction

They do look like one of the best hids. I never really cared for the ballast attaching to the reflector though..

I'm a 3590 guy I haven't tried Vero's or 3070's yet but might not 3590's rock for I need them to do stay tuned Monday I will flip to flower after I finish cutting these beast back I've already taken 50 cuts no more from seed takes to damn long lol

Well it really comes down to how you drive each COB. Cree CXA-B and Bridgelux Vero COBS are top dogs in my playbook.

The only difference really would be situation by situation difference....they are all top notch....
The cxb is basically the same price as the older cxa's while being about 5-8%? more efficient....
The Vero's kind of mirror both the 3070 and 3590....they have more diodes than the 3070, but aren't as efficient when running soft...but can output over 150+ watts and still maintain credible 30+% efficiency's....they were also recently upgraded across the production line and increased efficiency, while maintaining cost.....
The 3590's are Cree's largest offering and when ran very soft, its most efficient....
As far as affordability....

Currently using Mars II 900w (411w draw). Also used during most of vegging were T5HO's.
After this grow I want to draw less wattage at the wall with better coverage and results. The electric rates where I live are some of the highest in the USA.
Are there DIY LED kits for purchase anywhere and if so what specs would be good for my space? I don't have a lot of tools to build from scratch. Thanks

Are there any advantages/disadvantages to using larger vs smaller watt LEDS? For example 2x 50 watts vs 33 x 3 watt. (Aside from being able to mix colors)
