I'm No Electrician At all. If I could find a step by step video of where to buy each part and exactly what to do I could probably fennagle it.

Pacific lights concept
Optics
GOGREENLEDS
Havenbrite

If you get that panel then later you can take it apart and see how it works and upgrade it to legit cobs maybe they're still cobs just not good ones.

Stop asking so many questions and figure it out on your own. Then ask questions for confirmation.

Not many people doing that around here...even fewer doing their own research....mostly just seem to be going through iterations of the 'telephone game,' with quality of info given becoming shittier at each go
Yeah putting forth effort trying to help people make the best decosion with their money is becoming tedious.

But whatever I won't covet what little knowledge I have and it saves the pros time to perfect shit so I can copy them :)

i think people should get vague answers to encourage them to do something besides posing the same question over 6 threads on 5 minutes. Instead of people just saying 4xCXB+meanwell they should be encouraged to match numbers themselves. What's even worse is videos have been made graphs, tables everything yo make this easier and most people either choose not to use them out worse don't understand what it's saying.straight up if you don't wanna learn how to add numbers buy a pre built and keep your repetitive questions to yourself,if you are however intrigued Google your question or actually read the thread directly associated with the topic

I saw someone post a link to a led light called the Spyder..it replaces a 1k watt Hps... It has no fans and is passively cooled...why isn't everyone copying this? It seems smarter to have this, if a fan goes out the lights can burn out..

I'm trying to grow in a homemade stealth box. Dimensions: height is 34inches, width is 22 and depth is 12.

What would you guys suggest?
I want to get HID but I don't think it's a good choice since my box isn't that big.
Also thinking of getting LEDs but I'm not sure if my setup is tall enough.

Some guys from another thread suggested i get vero 18's what do you guys think?

BML and CLW only use 3 watt Osram SSL 80 diodes.
There are a couple people that make similar ones but they're extremely expensive. I believe one is called a hanz panel.

Osram makes their own Zelion HL horticulture lights. I have 2. They're expensive $600 covers 2x2' area and mine only uses about 88 watts.

Basically the Osram LEDs are expensive so not too many people DIY them.
Also I believe Osram doesn't publish the effiency of their LEDs. From what I gather in June 15 they changed to ceramic LEDs for the SSL 80 and I can't find an efficiency chart anywhere on them.
