wow...thanks for the relief im a lil hopeful now...they are not in flowering mode they are only 2weeks old today from seed i have em under a t8 2lamp4ft about 70 watts just to germinate n start em off...now i need a couple of led lights(i like that they are cool and not detectable) to fit my4x4 grow tent
Some here will say, oh no, here he goes again, but, seriously...
If you/they spend 10 minutes on BML site you will quickly see they are the real deal, and there is one completed grow on RIU, so it's not just me!
Definitely investigate BML Horticulture SPYDR 600. It has 6 x 3ft bars on a 3ft spine. The bars can be pushed together (veg) then spread apart creating a 3 x 3 light, covering up to 4 x 4- $999
I don't know if neem oil kills thrips or not. But neem is my go to for most problems. After a few days I will mist with plain water to rinse the been off after it has begun to naturally break down. I also have an ozone generator I use in emergency situations or between grows for sterilization. Ozone can be dangerous though, to both you ans your plants if used in the wring way
Did you miss the part where I said there is a finished grow on RIU using one?DO U OWN THIS LIGHT?....IM NOT KNOCKING U BUT I NEED EVIDENCE MAYBE U CAN put a link up with a video showing this light going from seed to bud with a decent yield

HINT: The grower was extremely happy. Certainly comparable to other grows I've seen using A 51, but BML will cover a bigger area better
I am using 2 x 3ft BML light bars now, AND have a custom spectrum SPYDR coming, to beta test
But seriously, they use high quality parts which is the key to a successful grow light
Have you taken the time to visit their site?
I'm done here
As would I, or the guy who completed a grow using their standard SPYDRyes i visited their site..i will think really realy hard about it i have until friday to make my decision and purchase a few lights all i have is$1000 and if i buy the wrong inferior light i will be taking a big loss

Have you researched how long I have been using leds, following other led growers, and the led DIY section?
I am by my knowledge as most here, the hard way, over the last 3 years, spending money on leds while learning
I merely offer a comparable option, BUT, with better coverage, and greater flexibility
I just got an invasion of white flies. Every time we get a gnarly heat wave. They show up. They only go on one plushberry and one mojos og. They don't touch the other plants. I did rosemary, lavender, cayenne foliar. Barely did anything.. soap foliars compost tea foliars, spinosad. Ladybugs.A normal kelp foliar worked better. I haven't tried garlic. Garlic powder or fresh garlic? I have a Costco / kirkland container of garlic powder... Should I boil the water? For thrips you need something with spinosad. I use Monterey gardens version. But for whiteflies I like a garlic solution. 1 tablespoon garlic to 1 gallon of hot water.
Repeat applications are a must for white flies. And other bugs for that matter. Specially with organic solutions like both of those.
My kale was coved in white files. I read about garlic and tried it...didn't even research it too hard. white flies are like vampires it said.I just got an invasion of white flies. They were basically gone. I also used a little organocide in there too.
The garlic is more a deterrent. The adults all leave or die if sprayed into the gouda hard enough...then you need to repeat or use more horti-oils to get the eggs. That's why I recommend multi applications. Just like any pest usually.
Long story short I used the garlic and it worked.
Outdoors I mind you so if they have no where to leave too(like inside) I wonder how it will work. They like yellow so sticky traps are pretty good to load up on.
First time I did it I just put minced garlic in my sprayer...worked until it clogged it up. So make sure you strain it. I assume the hot water gets the most out of the garlic, and since I now strain it, I think hot if you got it is good. Let cool down a little before spraying.
Yeah the only complete grow with the bml spyder so far has brought in 7 zips(198g) from it...........not gonna sell many lights with that, no offense to the grower as it was his first run with it.I don't care what 300w light it is...You will need a record breaking run to hit 1lb. Like actually setting records for verified yields...even for hps in top notch setups.
All the options that have been thrown out there for boogie4200 are good-great lights...but you still need a certain wattage(based on photon output of todays tech) to obtain that yield.
If you were to hit 1lb with 300ish watts that would be the best I can see it going for now. So with that said, it's more likely to fall short of that. Just being real. And skill level has a shit load to do with it too. Our brother Dawg came the closest with 1 of his 2 plants(each with one a51 sgs160 over them) hit over 8zips...the other plant held him back from his goal(1lb with 310w).
So I am just giving you the heads up that all though quality led's are amazing and imo the best choice...they are not magic. Nor are they cheap to get the results a top skill grower needs.
