Is there a reason you are promoting Amare? I noticed their prices are rather high... Their spectrum has no UV and low 660. Blue and red provide plants with most of what they need anyways. The rest is extra heat output. It is like using a HID/HPS etc which aren't specific nor efficient for growing plants.
550W LED vs 1000W HPS

Why are you even giving advice?
I just looked at
https://www.amaretechnologies.com/ which costs 2-3x more than the ones on cobgrowlights.com and are less efficient.
I am laughing. Too funny... On Amare's website It says 320-390 is important but the have none! Perhaps you should tell them to remove that.
They also have a lot of FAR red which is bad (over 700nm cancels 660nm)
Look at this! They think their spectral analysis are good?

Send new growers who dont know anything to the website and they might buy. But overall it isn't something I would use as a LED user for many years.
Hey McCob. I'm glad you like your RQE (Relitive quantum efficency) COB lights. I once believe all that stuff you said prior to buying Led. After studying on PAS (Photosythetic Action Spectrum) & numerous studies (facts, not like Burple hype) I learned the benefits of using the full spectrum.
Have you ever grown big with HPS or did you go straight to Burple? I've been growing big & perpetual with HPS. If you have not then all you know is supplemental HPS lighting (RQE-your COBs). And maybe you're very happy with your results. Ex: I can understand why as BML did prove one can outgrow a DE using the R+B spectrum. But as BML learned more of what our plants need they became FluenceBioengeniering & now offer the Physio spectrum instead of the Grow-Max, while openly admitting their mistake with the R+B Grow-Max Spectrum. Hense the bleached tops of buds from not having full photomorphegenisis. The plants were not fully Photosynthesizing. Check into it. I doubt your COBs are as scientifically invested into Hortricultural as BML/Fluence, no offense. Just saying, these guys are smarter then your average light distributer. Read, it's all finally proven.
So, just because I believed so many claims about R+B panels, I bought one of each. The Amare enhanced white (PAS) & the Hydroponics Hut full spectrum R+B (RQE). The HH does grow great as I'm sure your COBs do. But next to the enhanced white Amare, it's not very impressive but the pinkish light is pleasing to look at & I wanted to believe that select spectrum could indeed outperform the sun itself as HH claimed. But the fact is the Amare quadruples the growth. Just fact bud.
I have no reason to promote Amare. I may have just got a lil excited to share my opinion with someone that may be able to gain from my depth in studying & the willingness to buy both panels to find out for himself. Plus I've grown many a many of pounder plants with my HPS so I know what standard we're trying to meet or exceed while saving energy.
Do you think your lights more efficient because of spectrum or COB efficency stats. If it's the spectrum alone then I'm sorry you still believe these Falacies. Buy an Amare with the great big Yeild you get from the Burple light & do a side by side to see for yourself. When my Yeild off one plant pays for 2-3 lights at once I'm more then happy to spend a lil more for the quality & assurance. I understand it's easy to believe all that stuff. I did to. Sorry I can't play the post a link to my study game. It's everywhere on RIU & is just common-knowledge now.
I'm not in any way knocking you, as I was where you are only 6 months ago. Burple can put out but just not to our girls full potential. Much Love to all the growers. Poeple need good advice about quality lights. To me Burple has a distinct place in my HPS room if I was to buy anymore. Peace!
