its funny you posted that, I read a couple hundred pages of it the other day.. I don't need no DEA kickin my door in haha.. I appreciate it though
 
What are you talking about the DEA kicking in doors? Cus he grows a pound every 3 weeks, he does it with minimal lighting. Unless something happened afte I stoped following the thread a couple years ago that I don't knnow about, I wasn't aware of Stink having any legal issues. I remeber a bunch of noob trolls getting on his thread and always saying your gonna get busted, but that was it. He also had a cover article in Hightimes outlining his system in the spring of 09. It was an awesome article, and gave al lthe complete build instructions just like his thread. I believe he was only using 2 1000s when he started that thread. I don't care if your growing 2 plants or 24, if you keep your light numbers down it greatly reduces and kind of suspicion. Personally I try to get big enough harvests to justify the risk of what we do. I know that Stink also grows in a medical state.
 
HOnestly I'm almost more excited about what he is going to pull out this time. He mentioned he may be starting a collective which will change his plant numbers. So instead of growing a hand full of smaller plants, I guess he will be trying to get each of his larger plants to a minimum of a pound each harvest.

i need to re read that thread, i know he didn't ever get busted or ne thing, but i thought it was a high number of plants in every stage of growth..im probably wrong though(wouldn't be the first time) haha...also read the AlBFuct thread, its all good stuff.
 
Ah yea good ol ALBFuct. That is basically what my system is modeled after with a few changes to fit my space and needs. AlB has a ton of great info, long thread but good info.

Stink had I believe about 20 clones, about 15 veg plants, and about 30-40 flowering plants at a time. He took all his clones off his veg plants before he flowered them, then moved either 12 or 14 plants into flower every 3 weeks when he harvested. Each of those 12-14 plants pulled over an oz which gave him his pound every 3 weeks. Its certainly not a low numbers system the way he ran it, but it can also be adapted to fit almost any size needs you have. It prolly wouldn't be right for you atm, but its a sweet set up. I'm going to be building one of his clone units very soon. I've been running hydro for 3 years and have never bothered to build a hydro cloner cus what I do works. I think it might help though. We'll see, cus I"m running my first harvest from hydro clone clones. I got about 30 clones from a buddy to fill my system, and just flipped the lights a couple days ago. with any luck they will be some of the best I've ever grown, and I'll build a cloner and be happy.

i believe stinkbuds state had regulations on size. where im at we have a count regulation and a wight regulation on finished product. so you can grow 6 plants (for yourself) that produce 8 pounds each and thats great but if you harvest them and they come a knocking you better have gotten rid of some of that weight.
 
Thats the thing that has always killed me about the weight restrictions. Its bull, if I grew 6 plants and only got 2 oz I'd be furious.
 
Once again with some real good advice. How long do you use the same soil? I was planning on using my personal blend for 2 grows then I will amend this same soil with more of the organic stuff I'm using.

i try not to reue my soil, if im in a pinch i will. i save all my soil from winter for summer growing. just re ammend it and then leave it in the ground when im done (or at least thats the plan) as far as why...i couldnt tell you and im dont relaly know if re using is good or bad thats just my personal preference.
 
Nice I need to get some bubble bags. I've made dry sieved hash for a couple years not, but only resently got into any extracts. I'd like to give some true bubble hash a try, I've just never sprung to buy the bags. I've seriously been considering getting a bubblator and giving that a try.
 
You don't have to grow as much as stinkbid but his system is as close to full proof as any I have seen. I have always been a dirt farmer close to 30 years inside with good success, just for me and the wife. Tried Hydro or dwc a couple of times granted no information then like today, gotta love this site and those like it. I killed my fair share of plants experimenting so I always stayed with dirt. I found stickbuds thread a few weeks ago and I am amazed, granted costs were less because I had most of the expensive items (LIGHTS). I really am amazed with the ease of growing but especially the growth rate. I highly recommend the stinkbud system.

for sure, i dont have bags, just ice, water and trim in a bucket. use cake mixer for about 20 min. strain and let settle, then siphon off to and pour "dirty" water into another container. Let sit and siphon more.

rinse and repeat then just let evaporate, a nice breeze and some warm temps will help with that...i wish i had a set of bubble bags though.
 
A buddy of mine just bought a 5 bag set on ebay for like $60 which is a sweet deal. I don't make a point of ordering growing supplies off ebay though.
