Be patient.
I have hundreds of grows under my belt. No books, cheerleaders or television show. Just hands in dirt.

Read the back of your seed rasing mix and make sure there's no fert in it.... : / Just happened to me and lost 12 seedlings.

Learn the basics and then master them. Be patient and don't try to do more than you can realistically handle.

Basics are:
proper grow environment
Light distance
how to tell male from female
watering
feeding

You don't need to be flashy and no need for a million bottles of fertilizers. Less is more and K.I.S.S (Keep it simple stoner)

Oh and don't kill your plants with kindness it's very easy to do .....also don't tell anyone ever that doesn't need to know about your plants/grow ...best friends can become worst enemies .....other than that read read read and if you believe the earth is flat don't plant to close to the edge for safety reasons .....good luck welcome

Mix dolomite lime into your soil before planting. I'm willing to bet that at least 50% of "nutrient" problems in the Plant Problem section are the result of an off PH. A little dolomite lime added would have prevented such issues.

One bit of advice outside of the ones posted which are great, start reading now and researching "when are they done" harvest and cure.... here is a start right here on RIU.. https://www.rollitup.org/t/are-they-done-yet-what-does-done-look-like.853978/ If you plan now for the harvest and cure, you will be pleased with the outcome in the end. Start small ( 1 or 2 plants ) , keep it simple.
Grow nutes for veg
Bloom nutes for flower
Start growing in soil to get your experience.
