In Barcelona it's really common. Loads of young girls get started with tattoos at 18. They even have a tattoo exhibition here.
Where I come from (London) tattoos are adorned mainly by fat women on council estates who look/are rough. Albeit they may be original Indian ink but they just look like/are prison tattoos.
I knew a Chinese girl who back in the 90's got a huge dragon covering her shoulder with the tail running down her arm. How she kept that covered from her parents idk. She hates it now.
Whenever anyone shows me their new tattoo, I appreciate the colours and new shading etc but I can't help think to myself whether they will like it in 10 years time?

I am tattooed. I can't tell you how many as now it is more like how many times have you been to get ink. I have a few more that need to be done but I need to save up first.

Totally agree, a couple of meaningful and well placed tats are Ok imo, over-doing it turns me off, been with a couple of younger ladies with full-on tats and found it distracting when the clothes came off. The female body, particularly one that's well taken care of is a beautiful thing, don't fuck with perfection imo
