Btw for smell go get some ona pro block punch some holes in the lid and let it sit in the room 4 days before he comes.. then the day he gives notice move the ona into the living room..
 
im not to worried about smell. Theres only 4 plants and they are pretty well ventilated out the window. i told my gf to go and tell me what the spare room smells like and she says it smells fine
 
Apartments can't stand em to many neighbors and investigations or inspections. Hope we don't see you Posting in legal form.

You could get one of those normal air cleaners for dust and pollen or whatever, and run that in the same room to cover the fan sound, with the fan sound of the air cleaner. Lost of people use them every day for normal uses. I have one running at my house for non-grow reasons pretty much 24/7.

At that point in the conversation you point to your shitting pail that you keep by the side of the bed, for midnight craps, and explain that you get insomnia if you get up.

Shit masks the smell of skunk rather nicely. Both are sweet, warm flavors that blend into gut wrenching panic on the palette.
 
you need to get rid of shit before your landlord comes. Dont risk it. just start over and look at the bright side that they wont be doing inspections for at least another year after that.

Rather than turn the fan off, you can just put something else with a fan right on top of or in front of it and at a casual glance most people won't notice anything. Like an air filter or a humidifier. I put one of those air filters, like to take cigarette smoke out of a room, right on top of my grow cab. If someone happens to be there when the fans are on, they just think the noise is the air filter.
 
well so fat then i figure i got the sound covered. Lol, but im still stuck with the issue of making this box look somewhat normal in a spare room. so far my best plan is to put the christmas tree in there and tip up the matress and take apart the bed frame to make it look like we got a new bed frame for christmas. It is new, like we got it a couple months ago and the landlord has never been here and seen out furniture.
 
Just pile so much furniture, empty boxes, and assorted junk as to render the room impassable. I did this many moons ago and it worked. My landlord came to the door with prospective tenants when I wasn't around, and I had plants going... in a state where it would've meant prison time... he smelled them but didn't even attempt to enter because of the mountains of couches, tables, and other random shit. I got a "get out of jail free" card that day.

Maybe throw in some BDSM gear and a shitstained dildo. Anything that embarrasses YOU gets HIM out the door, quick.

That or you could trap a skunk and release it in your apartment, when you both see it scream "OH GAWD WHAT'S THAT!" and the inspection will end early for sure. Will explain any odor, too.

Lol! pretty sure im gonna not wanna go find a skunk.The only problem i do have with piling shit into the bedroom is out apartment building comes with storage lockers that are just down the hall from our doors. So i mean ya i can use my spare room for storage but, there is the chance that he will put 2 and 2 together. If i pile stuff in there its gonna have to look kinda temporary. Like the christmas tree i think is a good one. Hopefully i get some big boxes over christmas. Anyone ever tried telling the truth and telling him it is an indoor garden. Doesnt mean its pot growing inside right? I mean we live in an apartment ffs. Where else are we supposed to put a garden?

Cover it with a white sheet say its a antique dresser your holding onto and put a old loud shitty fan on there to cover noise and surround with junk, problem solved... If your really sketching just get it out of there for the time being I don't see why this is so hard
 
Why not just move the plants for the time being? you could rent a storage locker if needed, not very expensive at all. You could even set up a car battery and a timer with a inverter and a cfl, this should last a while and keep the plants on their photo cycle while they hide.

How big are the plants?

Normally i would think no but being just after christmas, i think i could pull something off. I could tear it all down and put the plants in boxes in the storage unit, but i already did this once, except i took the plants to a friends house and that didnt turn out so good in the end. he underwatered the shit out of them. its not really moving the plants thats hard, altho it is kinda a bitch because they are like 3 feet tall and in bloom so they are gonna smell no matter where i put them or even when i gotta bring them from my apartment to my truck its risky. an cold outside to. Im sure moving them stresses them too. Not to mention now i still have to drive half hour there and half hour back which i guess is the least of my worries. Then when i get home i gotta fuck around and pull the walls off then pull all the mylar down, then pull the frame down with a drill its a real fuckin pain in the ass. i found that out the first time. and even more a pain in the ass putting it back together again
