If you were running a commercial grow what lights would you use?

I am asking because I will starting a small commercial grow from scratch around 3000 sq ft. I have 16 1000w hps running in a small room now and the heat issue is getting old fast. I am going to need over 100 lights and if i use hps i will be looking at a huge expense for the hvac system. So i am going to be going with led it is higher upfront costs but they will pay for themselves within the year in savings. I am just torn between these leds looking at hlg 550 v2s they are ETL and CSA certified. Also looking at nextlight mega and fluence spydr series. Blackdogs seem way overpriced every light claims to be the best and just figured i would ask some of you guys that know a lot about leds.

The LP expansion right now in eastern Canada is building greenhouses with white walls, clear roof and I’m unsure about the lighting. Most likley hps. Other then obviously the sun. White wall must be for light deprivation reasons. Also the roof appears to open if needed. I’m sure they payed consultants and that was the end choice.

What, hvac isn't free? ;-)

I'm not the one to address spectrum, but the HLG looks good based on PPF/watt and PPF/dollar. Wiring for 240 or 277 volts will be cheaper and give higher efficiency.

It sure would be interesting to run all three or four brands and see what you learn, but volume discounts may be a factor. Regardless of your choice, running one or more of each light would be a great test!

BTW, Amare SolarBar-8 has 2.5 PPF/W and 880 watts for $1271.25 RIU pricing. https://www.rollitup.org/t/amare-solarbar-8.983189/page-2#post-14723580
