i think i would give it maybe another week, let those hairs kink up a little, but it looks pretty close to me.
the real test would be to check your trichs with a scope, at least 60x, 100x is better. when they're mostly milky they're ready...according to taste, some people like to take them a little early, some people like to wait till they don't see any clears and a lot of amber...
i'd guess those are about half and half right now, but guessing is just that, guessing.

these are the trichs on that ^ plant, you can see it still has a few white hairs, but it's ripe. i'm going to let it go a few more days, but i'm doing it to keep my schedule, not because i couldn't take this one right now if i wantedPICT0014.jpgPICT0015.jpg

Just found this. It may help. To me. your girl looks like the 3rd from the left.

Without knowing the strain it's hard to say, but based on the calyxes I'd say ~1 week or so. They look to me like they aren't quite done swelling. Nice looking girl, btw.
It's either Granddaddy Purp or Northern Lights it's one of the two bag seeds I had if that helps so I'm pretty sure it's an early Harvest strain but I started my flushing and was going to give it another eight days

Sounds like you, the pic, and I all have the same idea. Hope we're right. :)

RE knowing the strain, sorry I wasn't more clear. I meant know the strain as in having grown it myself and seen it finish previously. Once you grow a stain or especially a cut a few times, it's far easier to read.

Gotcha I understand what you're saying. Honestly not sure how much I'm going to get off of this Harvest but I started the flushing to swell the buds a little bit before I pick them I figured anywhere from 6 to 10 days I'm going to take her down. My final question for you is I've heard a lot about harvesting in the dark hours to allow the chemicals from the nutrients well what's left of the chemicals to be in the routes at that time and not in the buds I'm not sure if there's a lot of information behind the idea of that so does that even matter or is it something that I should try and I've also heard about flushing and then letting the soil dry out completely before Harvest to make drying and curing faster and better?

i harvest just before the lights come on if i can, my reasoning being that they haven't been transpiring in the dark, so they should have the least amount of carbs and sugars in the buds that they're going to have....
you have to over-feed heavily before you'll ever "taste" nutes...plants eat ions of nutrients, and almost immediately break them down into constituent parts, the sugars and carbs that the plant produces for energy are what make it taste bad. giving it plenty of time to dry, in an area with around 55-60% rh will let it break all that down, and allow the good "funk" to start coming out

Let me start by saying I'm neither an expert, nor do I play one on television.

There is a university study linked on IC-rag that says there is no benefit gained by flushing. All the data is there.
I don't flush, just reduce ppm the last week or two as the plant slows down. I grow passive hydro(modified hempy). I also don't worry about dark time or harvest time. IMO, a proper dry and cure makes all that irrelevant.

I have never flushed my plants, I just quit feeding 8 to 10 days before harvest, and have never once had and taste of ferts, So if you do that isn't an issue, I always say to each their own. You can but doing more than you need to can get confusing So I keep is simple. Roger and saboo are both right IMHO. Curing is the Trick. Your ladies Look really nice I would take them soon for sure, if they degrade to far the quality goes down and that is my opinion also, but I've been doing this for a very long time and have tried a ton of things.
You got some good advice by everyone here, and that can be a huge help.

Keep up the great work.
