Ignore the claw? / Is this the claw?

Every once in a while, as my plants move from grow into bloom, weird parts of a leaf or two will develop. I've always assumed this was because I started limiting nitrogen too soon. And because the plant would now be blooming and not growing there was no need to try to correct the problem by adding more nitrogen.

Well... One of my raspberry coughs has several hooked leaves.

Again, I'm assuming this is because I cut nitrogen off too soon (by like a week maybe). I'm wondering if there is anything I should do? I mean... what's done is done. The plant has well formed mini bud crowns... meaning it probably doesn't need tons of nitrogen now anyway.

Questions: 1) Am I correct in reading this situation? Limiting nitrogen too soon caused a Nitrogen def. 2) Should I really give a shit? The plant needed Nitrogen at the time... that time has passed.

More often than not the Claw comes from too much nitrogen. Once you induce flower (you look about two weeks in) the plant's toleration of N goes down. Do not feed any N right now! It should recover on its own. Mind P, K and Mg once you have the Claw contained. cn

i'm 4.5 weeks into 12/12... so... depending on how you look at it... I could be 2 weeks into flowering. This plant kept shooting up in height... even after i cut off almost all nitrogen it kept growing upwards. That's why I thought/am thinking it was a brief nitrogen def. But... either way... you agree that I shouldn't really give a shit. It doesn't need N right now anyway. BTW, for the first 2 weeks of the last 4.5 weeks it got half doses of N. For the next 2.5 weeks it's been getting very limited N.
