Here's my current grow, its Romulan. I have 3 unsure weather they are male or female , but my instincts tell me the 2 on the left are fem and the 1 on the right male.

They've just went into 12/12 4 days ago and I am still unable to pick them apart.

Nice plants, what kind of light are you using? I see cfl's, but how many and how big and how do you have them spaced? I am curious as to what other people are doing with their cfl grows.

your still fine man you got until the pollen sacs burst open on the males to get rid of them, just be careful and dont break one open when you chop it down. just try to get rid of the male as early as possible.

1 4ft tube
and the trick is to keep em so close they just about burn your babies

the tube light can be touching without doing much damage

should they be put back in 24hrs of light if i want to clone them?


2 of the 3 plants are in these pics... couldnt get a good one of the last plant yet but i see small small hairs

Those look like female to me, I don't see any hermie sign ... yet (but that can always come really late into flowering).

ok im gonna try to go get pics of all three before i turn the lights out in 40 mins......

if they are fem could i just start leaving the lights on 24hrs with no problems again ? ?

Yes, you can put them back in vegetative growth EARLY in the flowering cycle. That's what a lot of people do, they start to flower, sex the plant, then put them back in veg. If you were to flower for 6 weeks as an example, then you'd be too far along to put them back in veg.

ok here they are im pretty sure 1 and 3 are fem but 2 doesnt have signs as far as my naked eye can see

let me add this is my first indoor grow and first time having to sex

todays pics...
the 2 plants i thought were female have almost every bud sites with female hairs (pistils?) coming out

the unknown , nice and bushy one still isnt showing me anything that makes sense to me

Would this mean its probly a male as they are all the same strain, planted same time and the other 2 are showing sex and this ones not

I'd like to chop it if its useless and start the lights 24hrs again

























Any comments suggestions appreciated.... just try not to hurt me feelings :P

ok im really trying to get better shots of the unknown plant.. either im getting a little more sturdy with my hands or i messed around with camera settings abit.

anyone else use a kodia easyshare 5mp

Yo bro, just my thoughts on your situation. If you have determined plants one and three are female then you can switch the light back to 24 hrs. to return to veg. status. If you want to continue 12/12ing the mystery plant then just take it in and out of the closet for a couple more days at the right times. Say noon and midnight or 6 am and 6pm. Make sure that it is getting 12 hours of solid darkness - throw it in another room. This is if each plant is individually potted. I didn't see in your pics one way or another. If yoour plants are rooted into a single container then it's all or nothin.

1 and 3 are in business and number 2 is out in the garbage box.


lights are back 24hrs ... i beat one of them up a little transplanting into a rubbermaid...... got rid off all my tie downs for LSTing (getting a bit cluttered) and fed and watered.

I'll take pics tommorrow before i put new and final ties downs on them
