Illegal border crossings down, again

Well, ok then.
We got the China thing all straightened out ... but, the subject of this thread is not China.

The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday:

Updated Dec. 10, 2019 10:42 am ET
Arrests of people crossing the Southwestern border have plummeted 75% since May, marking one of the most dramatic drops in recent history and a sign that policy changes by the Trump administration and Mexico are reducing migration to the U.S.

So, love the policies or hate 'em ... they're working.
A lot of it has to do with the pressure placed on leaders of these piss hole countries that the illegals are running from.
But, it's not because of construction of a wall.
Trump has made it clear that we won't be solving their problems for them; and if they keep pushing people off on us, we'll make their problems worse. So, their home countries are doing a better job of protecting their borders too.
This is a China thread now. We love China and we're tired of Trump's mismanaged trade war causing mutual damage and no benefit with no success in weakening the dreadful communist regime that oppresses the great Chinese people.
