I applied 3/20 via mail
Check was cashed 5/23
I called and they said it is still processing on 6/7
How long does that part usually take? I have seen on here that when they cash the check there is an approval the same day.
No mail or email communication.
I am excited but in serious pain.

It looks like there are four of us with the date 3/27; purple, Travis, you and me.
Purple will need to come up with another fun name like "the ganja gang".
I'll let you know if I get any news, please do the same.
Call the IDPH Medical marijuana program. They can look up when your application was received. I went through MCCO in Addison, filled out my paperwork on March 21. They didn't submit my application until the middle of April!

I also went thru MCO @shelbyville, and don't think we'll know the dates.... they were pretty tight lipped when i spoke to them on the phone, repeating the same ole ninety day thing. Let's hope Illinois ups their game and makes it much smoother for others who need the legal weed.

July 1stMy application was submitted on April 8.
Hang on there endless nameless we are in the same boat! (Fingers crossed!!..Soon I pray!!!)

Hey all- lurking for a few days and glad to meet you all! I'm so excited to join this MMJ community. Been in chronic pain for 10 years and beyond tired of pills that don't work well.
Here's my timeline --
Application & materials submitted via IEC 3/16 (paid w/card so no check to cash)
No communication whatsoever until I emailed them 6/5 (received standard canned response)
Received email back requesting my address to confirm identity 6/7 -- They responded very quickly that same day with this message:
Thank you, your new card has been sent for printing. You will receive it in the mail in the next 10-14 business days.

Interesting. It seems they’re not quite processing things by the date received. Maybe they’re prioritizing by apps that appear complete?

I kept it short and sweet. Would include your date application was received, name, phone number, email, and address. I said please and thank you as well
I thought it was super fishy that I emailed them and that my card was magically printed. I'm hoping it wasn't lost in a pile somewhere and that it was actually just a coincidence.
However I don't blame the staff in the department, as it's not their fault they are understaffed and undersupported.

don't know if you watch youtube, one night i set and watched Mighty videos for an hour, that mouth peice could use a make over, don't know what else would work, maybe an adapter with a reed looking thing?
Beanie, you might be onto something, if they have no way of connecting your screen name on here with your personal info, then it's a good thing. Some of us use the same name for everything, shouldn't always do that when dealing with the government. lol
I'm sure you'll get your card before us.

3/26 app submitted (allegedly, went through 1body1life)
3/28 received receipt for app fee from the state. I imagine my app was in fact received since my credit card was charged.
Question for those that have received the card or just know the answer. Do you always receive the approval email before the card? Or are there cases when there is no communication and the card just arrives?
I’ve emailed them and all I’ve gotten is the same auto reply email. “High volume...your app was received” (no date received though) blah blah blah email.
