Anyone making the excuse of more applicants since August. The December report is out and they definitely had a slow down for approvals in November. 1126 applications approved in November '18. Over 1000 less.

I wonder the same. But they had 3 months before the deadline and they're slow walking the implementation of provisional access which is just letters sent with the online application.
If they had slowed down 1000 applications in Nov to start sending out provisional Dec 1st that would be understandable.

Update still no card.
9/17 app received
12/1 check cashed
12/6 told approved and card will arrive in 14 days (not sure of the exact date of approval)
Still no card 12/11(but it’s less than 14 days so far)

I’m still hoping for this week but next works too...

Lol... If they would have sent those, we’d have them already... and the dispensary’s wouldn’t know what to do with them <eye roll>

If you think the process is going to change when the new administration takes effect, then I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you at bargain basement prices. It’s not the administration that dictates the speed of processing, it’s the civil service employees...the administration can say they want faster times, but those civil service employees dictate the speed in reality. Do you think they can just replace those employees, their union says otherwise...

From the rules they're treated just like the card. It wouldn't have taken a lot to tell the dispensaries that and to send them a sample to see. If you have a QP# they can check the validity and always have been able to.

Along with them saying you've already applied for a card and can't reapply meaning you're approved and vets getting fast tracked?

Not including half priced applications IDPH MCPP takes in over $100,000-$200,000 a month at their slow walk formerly illegal 90 day pace. The decision to not have them properly staffed to meet the previous 30 day deadline is intentional. Whether Rauner or Shah, someone could say hire more people. One of them could say move some IDPH employees from one section to MCPP temporarily because the employees they have will be busy working on the new law.
It's not about telling them to go faster, it's about bodies in seats.
