I love Bongs, First Thing I bought was Hash and a Bong. I wanted to get Glass, But I remember My Friends and I breaking so many by knocking them over in the 80's, BUT Thinking Back, those were 2 feet tall and 2 inches wide, so, Yeah, Major Tipping Hazard.
So I bought a Plastic to be safe. A few days later, I knocked it off the shelf onto the concrete floor. I was so Glad it was not a nice Expensive Glass One. I do plan to get one, a Low Boy Maybe, LOL, but will Keep it only near the Carpet!! NOTHING TASTES BETTER THEN GLASS BONGS!!
This was The Cresco Table.View attachment 4271501 View attachment 4271501

What meeting happened? What is this from?

This is my first all glass bong, partly the cost, partly the breaking risk. I've been through many glass steamrollers.bongsmilie
I won 300 points on the wheel. Had I known for sure that put me to $40 off and it applied today I would've got a little bigger. You could say I won 50% off the bong or I got it for $10 with all my money off.

I'm planning on dry vaping with it. Tried it. This could be dangerous.

I thought you were saying those tables were your haul today. No such luck I guess. Did you get any free stuff?

Big news: From Rep Cassidy getting an answer from IDPH
If you applied online after December 1st you should be getting provisional access February 1st. If you have a valid email in the system.
If you apply online after January 31st you should get provisional access within 24hrs.

Amazing how much I condensed that from her post on FB. I'm usually more wordy :bigjoint: Dispensary trip today, hoping to get a recycler for my dry herb vape.:weed:
Thank you for confirming what I posted last week. I heard this from my MMJ Clinic! I guess the guy was right! You explained it better than me, though! I think you may have been the only person who believed me. Thanks for the post!

I was skeptical as you were. I heard many saying it wouldn't backdate at all, including IDPH saying that.

I wonder if they couldn't backdate it to the actual day they filed the emergency rule instead of the 1st, not many more days but at least it's some more. I really don't see why it couldn't backdate to the law's signing. It's not ex post facto because the law was in effect instantly, per the fingerprints, they had until Dec 1st to come up with rules to come up with how to implement more difficult parts. I applied after provisional was the law, if it's available I should get it (if I didn't have my card already).
Cassidy is going to talk to them more and see about something for those still waiting and snail mailers.

I'm glad you'll get provisional. Just think, a week or less to go. 53 days (hopefully).

Yes, The Creco Rep gave EVERYONE who Attended a Bag of Stuff like Beads, Matches, Nothing any Good, but Got a Nice Black RythM Cannabis For All Hat. My version of The Make America Great Hat! And they had Free Food and Drinks. And I learned a Lot.

So you will use the Bong without The Water? Like a Steam Roller on Steroids?

Wish all patients that applied online or by mail could all get provisional access. It really makes me sad. If I could have known that this process would have token as long as it did. I would have thought twice about even going through the process. I feel bad for all the patients that applied by mail. I’m sorry you guys..I truly am sorry.

The way they do things here are pretty bad. I haven't looked to see how long it takes for other states. I remember a guy in one state said he turned in his paperwork, they took his picture, and he had the card in less than 48 hours. Are we one of the only states that require the ridiculous amount of paperwork? It is sad. We have medical conditions and PAIN. To have a state that makes you wait this long is just plain wrong. Just like the doctors who refuse to sign the paperwork. My dr (who I'm dropping) pretty much laughed in my face, even after my back surgeon said that I should have it, and it wouldn't be a problem.
One thing I have noticed, is that there are a number of doctors who have left their own practices in order to strictly help those in need of mmj! I give them a lot of credit for understanding, and being helpful. The process is unacceptable! The good news for future patients is that we now have a Governor who wants legalization going.
The state is in such financial crisis, and this is something major that can help it. I wish there were more we could do as a community. But, at least we elected a guy who seems to want to help in that area.

Some goodies is better than nothing.
I was amazed when the dispensary guy said he'd give me the smoking bowl, I got diddly my first visit when I spent $560 (except their first patient extra points, which amounts to less than a free gram).

I'll use it as a water bong. I may not like it for vaping and only use it if I start dabbing and for smoking. I haven't smoked cigarettes for 7 years so I'm sure it would help for that.

The good news for future patients is that we now have a Governor who wants legalization going.
Hopefully that gets the anti-Drs to give up and figure they can't stop their patients from using cannabis. Or hopefully the state figures to stop letting Drs decide and give it based on the health records. The way we do it is definitely screwed up in so many ways.

If what you guys are saying about provisional is true, it looks like this particular subject will finally be laid to rest. No more “wait times”!

To all of you that are waiting for you card: the wait is grueling. Each day is slower than the last.

So glad that I am not waiting anymore! I’ve been to the dispensary basically every day since I got my card last month. The wait was worth it...I love being legal and having access to the high-qualitity medical-cannabis.

I’m about to take a large enough dose of RSO to incapacitate a full grown blue whale...good night & sleep tight y’all!

As of the IDPH answer Saturday you're screwed, you'll be waiting your 90+/- days.

November 1st to February 1st is 92 days. November 30th to March 1st is 91 days. So yeah, at this point, royally screwed.

All in all is cannabis sold in a dispensary better than ...cannabis that is not?
uhm yes. Big difference in quality. You may be able to get good quality cannabis on the black market, but there is no gurantee that it hasn’t been grown with pesticides, mold, microbiologicals, etc

I believe you. Some people try to say that “medical cannabis” or I guess cannabis sold in the dispensary, is what “bad” or not safe because they have enhance the products, and other weird reasons why they feel this way. I personally never believed that though.

No one has to answer this question, I know this is a cannabis feed. I’m just thinking about something personal. I’ve gone for a therapist, I wanted to start therapy. I went to a therapist, had two session with him. Talked about my life, a different people in my life, and how I deal with life and those people in my life.
I stopped going to him because I was uncomfortable. Not to say that everything he said was wrong necessarily, I just felt in my heart that I wasn’t going to make those different changes he was talking about. To be honest he also kinda sounded a bit aggressive as well. I heard on a video that someone said, idk if jokingly or not, that it’s a therapist jobs to piss you off ?
This is the first time I’ve met with a therapist that made me feel..unfortunately shitty. I kinda got a better understanding on why some people don’t enjoy going to therapy, or refuse therapy.

I want a therapist that calm, cool, and collective. He was pretty aggressive and came off rude almost. Idk just a lot.

I don't necessarily get the purpose of posting this in this feed? What are you looking people to respond with? What you said has absolutely nothing to do with cannabis, waiting for your card, or anything remotely similar?

Update. Just called state office. Was told I was approved ewxently. Could take 21 days for card. Yay! Asked about the letter, she said she didn't know if I would get a temp card or not. So stoked that I finally know something not stoked about more waiting.

Applied online November 2nd .

I don't really understand the "better" and "quality" words people use.
Most street (very little of it) I've had in the last few years since trying to see if I wanted a card would kick my ass. It was dense and trimmed. The same as you get in a dispensary but you don't get to select (or know) the variety and you don't know any of the labs. It was also the exact same price as a dispensary unless you got bulk. The last street I had was a good high for me (not ass kicking) so varieties do change you just don't know what they are.
I suspect most of the street I had was selected all based on how much THC the variety had potential for.

Dispensary stuff can kick my ass. I can have some prediction of that based on THC % but that's not always the case, I've had 16% put me down, I have a 25% variety that's good for me. A 20% variety is one of my favorites, a 19% variety hits me hard. I can be sure I need to be careful with 28%+.

So at least for me I know I can't go by how it feels to guess at THC levels to use that as "quality". I suspect that is what many are saying with words that really don't describe anything about the bud or the effects.
I have yet to hear anyone who uses those words to complain or praise use them for 1:1 or 2:1 CBD varieties which makes me think what is really being said is how stoned it got them unless they're specifically complaining about mold or seeds.

So far what I've seen is the things I would call "better" or "quality" is the same. The difference is you have an idea of what you're getting with dispensary stuff. I've seen people claiming they'd pay $15-$30/8th on the street, I imagine they were getting some pretty crappy weed.

Compared to what I got in the 70's and 80's and even the 90's, OMG. Light years ahead of then for smell, trichomes and trim.
Columbian Gold is one of my favorites because it's familiar. The color is very wrong, it was bright gold now it's green. The smell is way stronger. The high is the same but it takes less to get there.
