Hello what's up everyone. I started germinating some seeds using the paper towel method and after 24 hours got impatient and went ahead and put them in the medium.:wall:

They had'nt sprouted yet and are currently in medium about one to three quarters of an inch deep in my closet at about 70 degree's.

I had a friend tell me this is how he starts his plants and it is safer than the paper towell method because you are not handling the seeds when you go to move.

I'm basiclly looking for someone to pat me on the back and tell me it's gonna be o.k. I am now paranoid thinking I should have gotten some other opinions.

Has anyone else grown seed to soil like this before?????

there is no good reason to pregerm in a paper towel only makes somthing easy more complicated and yes there are many ways to damage a seed by useing a paper towel..... i soak mine in water over night than i plant em and thats it so yes you did good just keep em moist and warm and they will grow... most seed companies will say to just plant em and cover with a dome or seran wrap or somthin to keep the humidity up untill sproutage occures

I just germed 6 Lowlife AK47's by soaking for 12 hours then about 48 in paper towel on plate covered by a bowl...set it on the heater vent on my floor and VOILA!! nice healthy tap roots. Gonna keep using this method until it fails me as the autos are notoriously hard to germ...by comparison at least.

Yeah, bro.. don't worry. I just prayed and tossed mine in the soil after they didn't sprout w/ a soak method. Both my babies are looking cute today. See my avatar! :)
