Im a Noob Not Understanding How to Use My Nutrients

I'm using FFOF soil and I went to my local hydro store and I bought (without really knowing what it was, or wanting to ask at the time) Advanced Nutrients Grow-Micro-Bloom. I've been using this about half-recommended usage, but I've been putting the micro in my resevoir then grow and bloom, meaning I use all three in vegetation and flowering. I've just went to 12/12 and I have a crop of bagseed whilst my Super Lemon Haze and Church veg up for mommas. Can I get say Beastie Bloomz and other fox farm or GH flower enhancers because I am trying to get great results without having to pawn everything I own to buy nutes...any help is much appreciated.

Hey Springtucky, welcome to RUI!

I use Fox Farm nutrients, Beastie Bloomz, Cha Ching and Open Seaseme. Great products.

I'd recommend using straight Pro Mix (Scotts/B'Cuzz/etc) for your next few plants - FFOF can burn plants when used with improper nutes, a common occurrence for new growers. Especially with seedlings.

Do you have a PH pen?

Download the Nutritients chapter of Weed Science, there's a list of my nutes if you want an easy pattern to follow.

I will definitely check that chapter out..thanks. I plan on using a soiless mix next grow, just depending on how all goes. I used a 2 to 1 ratio with FF Light Warrior and used just straight Light Warrior in 3" square pots until I transplanted them into 3 gallon buckets. I also only used straight water in feeding for first few weeks. I am not having problems with burning as of yet, but was just unsure how to use this grow-micro-bloom, I've been using all three. My ph is 6.3-6.5 for soil.

I just picked up Open Seaseme and Beastie Bloomz. I have to go back to my local hydro store in a few weeks and plan on Cha Ching. Do you use the Open Seaseme right away? I'm only 6 days in to the 12/12.
btw Hobbes, I couldn't get into your ebook to download it (something on my end most definitely).

I use Open Sesame for the watering going into and after the first week of flower for 8ish week strains, 2nd or 3rd week for longer flowering strains like Kali Mist. Open Sesame gives the plant more nigtrogen than Beastie Bloomz, the plants need it before starting to flower but excess nitrogen can inhibit flowering. It wouldn't hurt to use Open Seaseme for the second watering in 12/12 as well, to keep the fan leaves on longer towards the end of flower - the fan leaves will give up their nitrogen to the more important buds and sun leaves.

It worked just now for me, if its not working for you when you check in again please post in the Grow Lab thread and we can get other people to check the link as well.

It sounds like you have some good ideas here.

I would suggest adding something like Bud Candy or Big Bud now. Those really complement the AN base nutes and they ensure you're going to get the best results at the end.

I like using both, but if you're strapped for cash, just the Bud Blood powder since a little goes a long way.

i ended up going with the tri pack soluable fox farm (open seaseme, beastie bloomz and cha ching) and am now starting week 4 of flowering with the bagseed. I burned up a few but flushed and they seem to have bounced back, but so far so good. I plan on starting a grow journal this week sometime.
