im back everybody! need some help!

Hi everyone, I'v been gone for about a year and a half but now I'm back!! I forgot a lot and hope you guys can remind me ; ).

I picked up some clones that was rooted in little rockwool cubes, you can see roots from the bottom (just a few). Should I put them under a light and let them root more? Or should i plant them in my 6in pots with hydroton rocks.

Also how often should I water them and if I should start using nutes right away.

Welcome back! first things first... how will your be growing these plants?? soil or hydro?? what type of hydro...


i am assuming your clones are in 1 inch cubes right now ... personally i like to put those 1 inch cubes into 4 inch cubes for a better base before i put them into any hydroton.. when i see roots starting to come out of the bottom 4 inch cubes is when i take the plastic off the cubes and throw my plants into hydroton.

Hey Caligirl, the advice that I would give is based off of the type of system you are using. Judging from your use of rockwool, it sounds like an ebb and grow/flow. What size do you intend these plants to be as well will also alter the advice. Hope to be of assistance and don't hesitate to ask questions!

Personally i HATE HATE rockwool cubes, they hold way to much water for me. I'd prefer to just plant straight into 6" pot with hydrotonrocks in my Ebb and Flow system. But where I get my clones they are rooted in 1in. cubes. When I plant them into my hydroton rocks how many times do you guys think I should flood in the beginning, and if I should start using nutes right away just Ph'ed water for a while?
